Nostradomus's prediction

A long time ago I read a book in which the prophecies were translated and interpreted. The comet of August 1999 is still to strike.
In this interpretation not Russia but China was the initiator of the next war, and that is more logical.

But a lot of the prophecies that wee in this prediction could already have happened. The 'dictator curly hair' (new Hitler) might refer to Saddam Hussain, as he got weapons from the US but then betrayed them by attacking Kuwait. The war that turns the rivers of Eufrat and Tigris read already happened, or is still going.
The prophecies end not in 7000 but in 3800, after 1000 years of peace.

But the prophecies were cleverly written and doomed to be understood only after the events. Leaving room for anyone to make their own interpretation and predictions based upon them. And it works, as he is still selling books.

Indeed, I too don't really believe in all these doomsday theory's I just find it very interesting to read and find out what people think is going to happen to this planet soon. These days with the new technology there are probably ways to stop some things from happening. Or at least make the damage not as bad. As for the so called new "Hitler" It could be anyone, Anyone with enough power in their country can do what Hitler did in the early 20th century.

In my opinion, all these "world ends" things are nonsense made by idiots.

Wasn't it said that jesus will come and world will destroy when 2000 starts? Or some comet hits the earth?

Oh well, that didn't happen.. So why would some other prophecy happen?

Are you? how can you know? Are you planning on suicide?

Gandalf is right, but predictions are always that way, not clear, future prediction is not easy, has a single event can change it all, it's impossible to make a 100% reliable prediction but future prediction is not impossible.
You can actually predict the future using statistics and probabilities.

I don't see any contradiction on what the 3rd post or w/e says. After all, Russia is already facing diplomatic issues in the tchechenia or w/e and the assassinations of ex-KGB and journalists don't help.
The US prediction isn't far from true either, Bush just messed all Portuguese speaking countries-US relations by denying Portuguese language at US schools and comparing it to a museum and a sailing school.
Bush is a jerk and can easily set any diplomatic relation on fire.


There's nothing wrong in talking this, it's cool to imagine the future.
