What's so special about MP?

VC:MP has a different game play, there are more options on VC:MP such as, driving boats, different weapons, different skins etc.

MTA is very buggie

VC:MP is much better but have some buggies 2

The best way is to just play VCMP, there are a lot of differences.

VCMP is MUCH better though, that's why we are developing a VCMP server ^^.

The main differences would be gameplay/fighting (aiming is synced, you can see crouching for other players, drivebys work, etc) and there is much more possibilities and flexibility with VCMP in terms of making a server.
