Police Cruisers are a bit slow.

Hello dear community, I got this idea yesterday, after some great, but long chases.
Lets go straight to the thing:
Police cruisers are a bit slow. Let's say they belong to mid-class cars, if I can classify them like that.
Police has really small chance catching suspects who drive fast cars ( sport cars, etc ): Example: If they go off the bridge, we can not call PD in other City, requesting road block. It takes a lot of time to get them, and mostly requesting all available units to join pursuit, leaving other areas without police support, so other people can do ''whatever'' they want.
Point is, criminals have advantage.

I would like to ask if you agree with the following:
Special unit in ARPD. ( I strictly say it MUST be offical squad, because I read people used to make, well like clans inside Police, and that goes to nothing but cop abusing ). I must notice that it doesn't require special forum or anything like that (FBI,CIA,NOOSE,ARPD)
That unit would be - Every Police Station should have, let's say two Fast Cars, who are scripted to be in police colors and with emergency lights, and only certain FBI,NOOSE,ARPD members could drive them.
I would name that unit, something like.. ''Knights''.

There is already a planned unit in LCPD called HSRD which will use a bit faster cars in order to catch those tricky suspects.
That division is currently in development waiting for scripts support and defining the procedures of it.

But even they, the tricky suspects with fast cars, can be caught with regular cruisers.. but it needs a bit more teamwork C:

I deeply hope that, as You said: "HSRD ", is not the only option for Naming  that Unit.

Lemme get this straight, police cruisers which are equipped with tuned 4l V8s that have a higher top speed than a coquette are "slow"?
It's the placebo effect that tells you the police car is too slow....

If this HSRD vehicles become available for whole LCPD, nothing will change, since we have no car respawn and lots of cops will rush to them anyway. 

And police cruisers are enough fast to stop any suspect, vehicle just matters the team strategy you need to do.

HSRD vehicles will be only available for HSRD members, no worries. :P

But yeah, no wonder about that - you can catch suspect in regular police cars, you just need to cooperate and not ram him blindly.

I don't play GTA IV... Yet... but if you were to put light bars on a Comet, It would be best to use the ones from the N.O.O.S.E Cruisers as they are nice and flat and don't stick up so high... Would look better :P

Anyway I hope no any clever HSRD member gonna use their vehicles for anybody... Which Im really afraid of, since Im sure it will be used
