/acceptcall for Taxi

I just realized that there is a competition between taxi members and that we basically, if the any of the current taxi drivers pm's us or answer on public chat..
we basically don't know if anyone is coming at all xD

What I am suggesting is next..

If I write down /call taxi I am here and there... the guy who first writes down

- /acceptcall [ My ID or something ] or
- /accept mission.. or..
- /mission like for the FireFighters.. 

..the guy who does that, has the right to pickup the customer.

If you didn't write that down.. you are not allowed to pick it up [ Something like that system for jailing of suspect.. whoever cuffs does the jailing ]

As soon as someone does any of those above mentioned commands for accepting of call.. there is a notification in the chat [ For both, customer and other taxi drivers ]

For customer:
PlayerName is coming to pick you up.

For other taxi drivers:
PlayerName will pickup Mihail

or something something..


To add up to this, dunno if it is possible.. or any good.. that the taxi drivers have their green color only when they are on the /mission or they did /acceptfare to a random customer?

Something like "My light on the top of the car is glowing.. I am busy" :P

A cab which is hanging in true places should get the right to pickup the customer, not some first writer.

GOod point.. if the guy doesn't do /acceptfare like 5 min after that.. there should be a "cancel" notification after that

Or maybe they should have a /cancel mission option aswell..

anyone who goes on abusing /accept mission /cancel mission [ Like on/off thingy ] gets to talk with guys in RED :p

Not sure If I get it right and I don't know how taxi system works in Turkey, but in Serbia when you call taxi via phone, they tell you who (Taxi ID) is coming to pick you up.

I didnt mean it, I mean you wont know the process of a cab coming, but actually just realized I considered a bit different than last time.

Ok its right, but still I am against to giving the right of picking up a player into a "Fast-typer" s hands. And if you want to know if a cab is coming, just do it like /respond for the last call done so they ll actually know if someone is coming, though this has nothing to do with the suggested commands; No any limit to other cabs must be done. The permission to pickup is some other thing than knowing who is coming.

well, then make a script that split the calls in order. one for each like a rulette, like in any taxy compnay in real life that have a call center.
when the taxy accept call to auto complete the point where the caller is on map, and if it is posible the caller to point on map where he wanna go.
it is idiotic that all cabs to run to get someone and when all arrive the customer to be gone...
so it is better to accept the call to a specific taxi, in order like a token ring or who is available or not afk.
