Argonath Rules Clarification

Please do not lock this topic, and simply let a Community Leader or higher answer this. Preferably Gandalf.
My friend got banned for something which I find completely absurd and immature from the the servers end. Why? Because it seems you guys are so insecure and once I join this community I'm being chained down and cannot even talk freely outside the server?!?!

Do Argonath rules apply to Argonath servers, (SAMP, Teamspeak etc), or are they applied to my facebook, skype, whatsapp and real life!?

Will I get banned for using a bad word for an admin on facebook!?
Will I get banned for inviting a few friends to a server on Whatsapp?
Will I get banned for "shitting" on RS5 on skype?
Will I get banned for doing any of those in Real LIFE!??!

I mean seroiusly!? It is completely understandable if you all ban if we do this IN GAME or Teamspeak? But this is seriously getting out of hand. This was very disappointing.

Are you guys saying that once I join Argonath, you're gonna control my skype whatsapp facebook real life or any other communication method!? ?

If you know them from Argonath exclusively, possibly yes. Exclusively as in you met them here in Argonath and had no "friendship" with them prior to the community.

If their your IRL friends or known them from outside before Argonath, likely no.

So we should allow someone to  leech on the work Argonath has done for the last 7.5 years to recruit players from THIS community to another server?

As i said, if you get a couple of friends to play on a server, then that's fine. You will not get banned for it. However, as teddy said, "If you know them from Argonath exclusively" then yes. You are using OUR work as a platform to recruit players to another server and we wont tolerate that as Argonath has NEVER been on another server to recruit players from them (and if that has happend, the 'recruiter' has been punished).
