Like implying that the server is no longer any fun and Argonath SA:MP is nothing but fucked? If anything, the percentage of loyal players has increased due to the rest being diminished, and we gain new players every day. Argonath has just gone through a tough time, but as always, it is on the way up. It's not my fault you are too short-sighted to see that.

Considering I actually visit all the time, and you used to be one of my close argonath friends who I count as the 2-3 staying on SA-MP.

Right now, and there is no doubt about it, Argonath's community isn't as stable as before, Thousands of players are gone, and thousands more will join, but at this exact point in time, my statement is completely valid.

You know, Gandalf, that i love Argonath, why else would I be on this forum every day? or why else would I be respecting everything you said to me about my limits on what I can and can't do? There's many things I could do here, if I didn't respect the community that would cause huge problems, but I don't, because of the respect I have.

Many players are disrespectful, and I admit, I argue against everyone and everything, but i don't go out of my way to disrespect people, JDC is clearly 60% incorrect in alot of statements yet clearly tries to use his English skills to boost it up, hence the reason i'm arguing against him now.

If you spent more time reading what I said before, instead of picking for things to argue with me about, i did I had and have no interest in joining the argonath staff, there has been one day in my life I thought about it, that was it.

Argonath's a great community, it has great scripts and scripters, it also has a brilliant reputation.

You can create a topic about kittens and puppies and suddenly people will start to argue about racism, pro-choice and 9/11 aka terrorist attacks, and/or the exsistance of UFOs.. RS5 is a topic that people will get butthurt for another 5 months, than people who want to leave will leave and new people will come who don't have a clue what RS4 means, it's like a generation change.

But you do have to realize that someone going to a FB group of a community asking for help to set up TeamSpeak groups for his community that recently had some problems with Argonath players is kind of risky. But like I said on the comments he's a player asking for help so you only answer him if you want. All the hate should be left out.
People come, people go. Some people stay. That applies everywhere, and that will and is being applied here in Argonath. No need for 54 topics regarding to it.

That teamspeak is not even a part of the other community that i advertised on Facebook, the other TS is my own teamspeak that me and my school friends are using, i just needed help with permissions and you make it so HUGE so you think that i will use it for the other community.The other community already has a teamspeak and a owner who did everything needed for a good community.This is just funny.If you want come and check that teamspeak and if you see anything connected with the community that i advertised community ban me.

I agree with what you stated, but that's not the point of this topic. People leaving is not even a problem. WE, the players have to change some things. This topic is only made to make them think and try to behave as properly as possible for them.

I am not going to talk about any particular incidents that are ongoing or from the past, but there are a few issues in Argonath, like any community. Some are to do with things more on the management and technical side, where certain aspects are failing and could and should be fixed, but are allowed to deteriorate.

Other things are much more basic, like what a few people on the topic tried to point out. We cannot control the behaviour of others, but we can control our own most of the time and use that to influence the behaviour of others.

Respect does not = hero worship or bowing down to another player.
It just simply means that you treat them well - acknowledge who they are and what their motives may be for playing Argonath. Respect's gotta be mutual if it is to exist in this community. You shouldn't respect ranks because they say so, titles are merely eloquent words and material features are replaceable.

Just play Argonath for fun, use its services because you want to. 'Trolling' someone or insulting them gets you some laughs, but it's short term and superficial.

I am not disputing this part of what you are saying, but I find it funny you suddenly changed your tune from the "I don't care about Argonath itself, I just stay here because people like you amused me" you sported previously, now that the Owner himself is debunking your arguments.

Did you get your statistics and their "proof" from the same place where some players magically get their combat shotguns?

I'm not against you, I don't hate you, but I dislike the way you fail to listen to honest opinions just because you want to make things out better than they are all the time.

I do not hate you either, and if you will observe the pattern in my posts, I confine arguments that involve the person to a single topic where I argue against the post and its relevance instead. But I do not "want to make things out better than they are". Do you think there aren't any things I hate about this community? I've always hated moaners (who do not contribute useful here) and people who do not know how to show any thanks but instead complain about developers who spent hundreds of hours of free time just to make a better experience for them.

Optimism is not for me, but neither is useless pessimism. I consider myself a realist and I analyze things in this community based on the dynamics as I have observed them (from perspectives INSIDE and OUTSIDE of administration and development) throughout several years, and in the process I have learned which "honest opinions" actually hold water and which are just misgivings of players who are being too negative to take the initiative to contribute on their own to making things better.

Much like some hypocrites who complain that nothing / barely anything good is happening in RS5 when they are not going ingame to make any positive changes at all, and in fact jumped ship / moved somewhere else when the gamemode was changed. Unlike many of our "beloved" moaners, I (and pretty much anyone with more than half a brain of functional brain cells) actually observe things for how they work instead and take some damn effort to contribute to change instead of becoming some armchair warrior who spits few things other than unproductive complaints.

I'm just the only person here who's actively expressing my opinion to you without feeling the need to sensor what I think, if i have something to say, and i don't see it as provocative or invalid, i'll say it happily.

You are far from the first or the only. But neither do I censor what I think either, one reason I have clashed many times with colleagues and superiors. As I speak out when I see something wrong, I also speak my mind when I see a claim which I see falls in a pattern of many before it that does not hold water or much contribution to the server.

"Argonath has lost its charm" "Admins are doing something wrong so players are leaving" "Developers do not care" "The server is not fun" were all honest opinions of some people too. However, they were (and still are) closer to being opinions rather than facts as 1.) I have observed many things that would point to the opposite and 2.) the progress of this community is happening different as it would have if all those "honest opinions" were actually true.

If they were, then I (and a good portion of devs/admins) would actually take them more seriously. But the fact that they weren't, not to mention that nearly all the players who make them are those who do not contribute properly to this community (if at all) strips them of any shred of credibility.

The fact is, Argonath has gone through a rough time (which is but one of many we have experienced) but continues to grow, and many of those who are complaining about a little turbulence are the ones who jumped the plane instead of staying behind to stick it out until the captain finally abandons.

If you understood this post instead of just reading it, maybe you will finally realize what makes your arguments much less credible in the eyes of those who care about Argonath itself, as Argonath is also the community, contrary to your claims.
