A few crazies here and there doesn't justify the suggestion that an entire group is guilty of violence against another.

I think what KHM is getting at is that until Omar Aly made said comment there was no exchange of hostilities, therefore there is no culture of widespread preemptive assault on the behalf of Islam; assuming that behavior on an internet forum with active moderation is indicative of real world attitudes.
