It isn't off topic. It has everything to do with this death (known for good things, bad things, etc so I saw on the news when this was announced). However, inappropiate posts insulting religions intentionally etc will be deleted and probably forum punishment will subside with it, should it be required.

Besides how can you claim Islam is the younger religion and at the same time claim it was there from the start?
If it was there it is not younger or older as any other religion that shares the same story. If it is younger, it was not there at the time.

In fact those people are correct. While the stories he based it upon may have been older (better a good steal as creating a bad thing) there is no historic reference to the name before his appearance in history.
