About RS5/Admins/New members of SAMP

So, im acctualy ''moaning'' here, if you will hate on me, just leave.


So.. I have lost 3 rounds of weapons today only because of new members that don't knwo the rules. Admin told me to not buy what i cannot afford to loose. The thing is i wont care if i loose it in RP fashion but i get DMed, or CKed.. I really think its not normal.. I /report him.. Admins doesnt give shit and telling they are doing as much as they can, and they can't handle my problems. then i have a strong worded PM chat... Then he bother to send me few warnings about my additute against him moaning to me but not giving a shit about thoose rulebrakers.. I know that it is good that people are comming... But is it worth to only tell them 1 time without even /warn, and loose loyal members instead? I think not... I know most of you will say Samp@argonath blablballblba and so on. But i wan't to take this to all of the members. I suggest you to spend more time on reports about new players as because of them im not even enjoying wasting time on this game. I got 10 min temp ban. And i honestly think that you should consider waste thoose minutes ofme on thoose new members.


As my friend said - Admins are nothing, they are because they have rights, nothing more.

So, i created this topic to others post their complains about admins/ their reaction on new members/ or their bad sence of punishing people.

That's not a bad sense if an admin is doing what they can then they are doing what they can. There is only so much they can do they not superhuman. If your going to give a bad attitude to an administrator why should they stand for it? Because you lost weapons... yes we understand you'd be f**ked off but still giving the admins the attitude is not called for.

The admins we have are trained to not jump the gun and use commands willy nilly sometimes simple words can solve an issue.

As I've said they are trained to not use commands willy nilly sometimes words can solve an issue. You don't see everything an admin does. /warn is not the only way to solve things.

If you are armed as you say, use your weapons on whoever attacks you. With guns in your hand you can solve the DMing problem with your own hands, you're not defenseless; you don't need an admin to solve it. Think of this when you are not getting admin answer - sometimes admins are simply outnumbered by reports.

Guy may be a new player, but above all he is a human and a GTA player, and he knows that if he attacks someone he's giving that person the right to retaliate.

You got Dm and lost weapons because of a new guy? Why don't you try and teach these new people about our server rules?  Explain to them that it isn't a DM server, or something on these lines?

And just for the information we are doing out best keeping the server from rule breakers. Also remember you not the only player that is on.

We are there to enforce the rules, but we can't be everywhere at the same time. Every report that we get, is handled sooner or later. Just because you don't see the outcome, doesn't mean we do not do our duties.

Regarding losing your stuff - we are players like everyone else. We do not get money from the duties, we can't spawn money. Why should we waste our own, hard-earned money just to pay back 10k you wasted on weapons? It is your responsibility to carry such things - if you can't take the risk of losing them, why do you even have them?

It's a rare day when a report goes unhandled. Many times, the reporter will never know what happened to the one who he reported, but action is always taken, be it verbally, or in alternative form not visible to the public.

At the end of the day, the jungle called RS5 is the survival of the fittest, if someone attacks you and you have weapons, by all means take them out with your weapons if you would like to and are able to instead of reporting.

If they decide to attack you, you're free to protect yourself by returning fire.

As you said and as others have said, you should think about the purpose of buying the weapons if you do not need them and can't afford to lose them under any circumstances, be that a script bug, being killed by a hacker or a new player.

Administration members are specifically instructed to only act upon what they see, if they do not see anything happening there's not a lot they're able to do which is why cooperation with them when in-game is vital.
When I say "act", it's specifically meaning severe punishment.

Having a terrible attitude with administrators won't lead anywhere good.
Keep in mind it's a game and the administration members are dedicating their time to help players, by giving them a hard time it may end up in them returning the favor in the form of punishment.
