I always was. Clearly the ones with the problem are the ones who regarded admins as machines, omnipotent helpers, or (even worse) baby-sitters to solve their every problem, instead of human players/leaders who also had a limited patience in putting up with bullshit, like everyone else.

It has been made clear again and again that more is to be expected of from veterans than from new players, as you know more than them and are thus expected to act better.

In MTA:VC (a timeless comparison), players actually just killed the attacker when we were DMed. In fact, we used hackers as target practice, holing up in a stronghold and using our skills on the hacker when he came nearby instead of crying like a pussy when a new player punches once.

That is one problem with many of today's "veterans". They are weak, whiny, and are quick to pin the blame on the new players (instantly spamming "/report <newplayerid> DM" rather than try to teach the new player how the server works) instead of remembering that they actually know how to handle things better, which is not a surprise why you see a "veteran" getting punished in a situation where he claims the new player is to blame.

Not exactly. My theory says that if you go way too unserious, your judgement skills will deteriorate. 

I agree but it's not an excuse to use profanity. Any admin who tends to be profane is free to leave the roster.

Your theory may be somewhat valid but you as a person need to know when and when not to be.

I didn't know how to take your last sentence to be honest with you. Anyway regarding the swearing and being in bother with it... There is a difference between swearing with and at/towards someone. If it's the latter then yes you will get in bother.

What I see here, you are complaining because you lost your weapons and the admin did nothing about it.

1. You're right, we are just normal players, but we have rights. That doesn't mean we have rights to give money to ourselves or to anyone, by that, we have to earn money ourselves, which concludes point 1 to; We're not forced to refund players, seeing as its out of our own assets / money.

2. The forum is not a place to complain about an admin, use the email.

3. Instead of running around with guns, why not buy them, store them, and teach the new people who 'kill' you how to play. You were a new player, I was, so was everyone else. Just because you're experienced doesn't mean you have a thrown over ones who are not.

4. If you want an admin to be friendly with you, then be friendly with him - He has no reason to throw his toys out of his cot unless you're the one provoking the shit out of him saying he does nothing and he's useless blablabla - My point is, don't throw petrol in the fire if you can't put it out when it smokes you out.

Keep in mind, moaning is healthy and we should be happy we having moaning people in the community. Moaning works relieving, and we should be glad people are willing to share their complaints with us, not many are able to do this.
I've seen people (also in this community) who didn't moan nor promote moaning, and just accumulated all their frustration to a certain point and eventually 'exploded', causing much more damage to the community than a regular 'moaning post' would. Although, a thing moaners could think of, is trying to bring their complaints in a 'friendly' way.

Instead of telling moaners to f**k off or instantly attempt to counter them, listen to them, make them feel heard, because this is all they need to be cheered up.

Indeed. The thing is that I've see so much moan around Argonath and have not been any other community with so much moan. The question is if they wanna change it to become something else or be what it always been.
