[ GTA IV ] System for taking away DL temoprary

Is there any chance that you guys would approve/support adding of a specific system that would temporary remove the driver license according to the numbers of "traffic" crimes?

Currently, the driver license is just a "stop-by" for learning of some basic traffic rules which later on, basically all.. get denied for the sake of "enormous" fun of driving back and forward with high speed in some damn "exotic" car.

So, according to that I am suggesting some kind of system which will issue warnings for outrageous behaving in traffic [ By that I mean constant speeding along the most populated areas and generally.. going on wild with a car on the roads ] to at least keep some peace on the server.

I will write suggestions in short lines.. the rest is up to all of us to discuss it..

• The first thing I had in mind is that the system should have it's base rest on warnings for traffic behaving which would be issued by both guys from SSDS and LCPD.. at least to prevent the abuse of it.
• The warnings should maybe go along with tickets?
• The number of warnings that is needed to take away the driver license from someone should be enough for them to have chance to correct their "driving issues"
• If the driver did not receive any warnings in a week time of period, he gets -1 warning or something like that?
• If the driver license is taken away from the person, his cars do NOT spawn So that they at least have something to worry about..
• There should also maybe be some kind of list of warnings stated in the /invent
• Ranked officers of the police and Driving School instructors should have some kind of visible list of warnings here on the forum or in-game on the server to see when and if someone needs a warning removed
• If the specific player did not take for serious any of the warnings/punishments he had, then his license gets removed for good [ All together with cars ] and he has to take the exam again.
• The suggestion stated above should be only applied if the player got like 3-5 times his license removed due to the number of warnings he conducted over time

i wanted this to but was told cant do it i would revoke some people since they drive crazy and need a retest

First.. did you really have to quote the post?

Second, even dough it maybe overlaps [ again ] with Argonath Vision.. I believe it's easy enough to say what will the good side of it be.
The question is only: Is it that really the solution? :P

Reason? Lets take a look to our Driver License terms....

In server, there are 2 Driver's license; 1 is Real one which lets you buy cars, another one is Roleplay Driver's License, which is created by imagination of the drivers.

The thing that you request, is abusal(law) of  Roleplay Driver's License and it will affect Real Driver's License. First of all, you cant do such thing because there will be no point of it. Only way to allow it is to completely uniting Roleplay and Real Drivers licenses, which in this case; for a person who doesnt own DL shouldnt drive cars , or drive by illegal ways.. And this is not supported because of typical newcomer's vision: No Drive/No play, and as we re being people who cares about newcomers, this is not supported by server/community side either...

So its basically unsupported, and in my opinion not a thing that could be done. You cant punish people by ppl real driving license just because they re abusing the roleplay driver's license... It doesnt matter if you punish or not, people will still be able to drive car, no matter owned or state by how they will... Driver's License Test is for those who accepts that they understand road's rules, not that they accept to behave, so they shouldnt be punished for that either... Only punishment should be done to their wallet... Since from road rules' abusal, removing Real Driver License owner's rights is pretty pointless and doesnt have anything in common.

I don't really remember.. but who exactly is forcing you to take a passport and driver license? There is just about couple of hundreds of state cars you can drive..

No one forces people to drive vehicles too though try to dare to force Driver's License for state vehicles if u can... There is no rule that is covering it huh?

I even doubt people know I have a black infernus, since I rarely drive it. And Im one of the few players who is obeying to road rules. Since you're patrolling without a reason, and seeing all speeders etc as cophunters, Im not expecting you to know about that anyway ^^"

Also the punishment and its reason is as like banning a player for not talking in english in mainchat which actually is scamming. Vehicles spawn is some other thing, driving is some other thing.. If you want this type of system to be brought in, first you should find a way to bring more sense into driver's license...

No one force you to roleplay but you can't do what you want on server, for example driving like crazy in front of cops and saying you don't want to RP.

If you don't want to RP, you may go to third island and drive around as much as you want.

Ahh tell it to me, while Im being prepared for an rp, officers find the right time to stop me and waste all my preparation for it. Hehe... If he is not a /su abuser, IM still lucky, or one who doesnt charge +10km/h for 1000$ XD

Then you gotta start on training new cops instead of putting punishments/restrictions for regular players. If Cops could keep streets fine by traffic rules, or at least would be willing, then your problems described in here wouldnt appear. Instead of watching, maybe you gotta start to push the gas pedal eh?

Its not off topic, if there is an LCPD/ARPD and cant force the rules of driving properly, its their mistake, we re paying our tax(Well most of us) , u re not doing ur job good. In return to bring some peace in streets, you want other things in. If LCPD is not going to force some rules, why does it exist in anyway? If everything that LCPD/ARPD does count as a cops 'n crooks server , why does LCPD exist then?
