KFC's 'finger-lickin'-good' chicken heads to Sweden

The planned introduction of KFC's "finger-lickin-good" fast food chicken to the Swedish market comes following a deal between Swedish franchise group Nordic Service Partners (NSP) and KFC-owner Yum! Brands.

The deal gives NSP franchising rights for KFC in Sweden, with the country's first KFC eatery to be opened in the Stockholm area sometime this year.

"We don't know exactly when or where yet as the deal was just signed. But I can tell you we want to open as soon as possible," NSP CEO Morgan Jallinder told The Local.

He added that NSP hopes to open five to six new KFCs in Sweden every year, and while the focus will remain on Sweden at first, Jalinder didn't rule out further expansion across Scandinavia.

If this would have been around 1960, this would have been chocking news as the state had the power to choose what food to be delivered in restuarants and hamburgers was illegal to sell

The first hamburger were sold as "A flat meatball" which were allowed since meatballs were allowed to sell, after that event. The hamburgers got more and more into the society and they lifted the control around the food consuming.

I've seen quite a few articles on KFC that kinda made me iffy about eating it. Yeah it's probably a bunch of internet bullshit and completely false, yet it's intriguing nonetheless.

The servers here in my country are actually nice though. I'd say food chains like these are actually a benefit in the sense that they provide employment for those who lack the qualifications to get a better job, which are quite many.

If I were a software engineer (one of my desired occupations) at a major tech firm, I would give the effort in what I do because I am a software engineer and proud of it, not just for the sake of giving that effort.
