Project: ARISE, or the Argonath RPG Initiative to Sponsor Events, is a volunteer initiative with a two-fold main purpose:
to organize regular server events, and to contribute to the activity and improvement of the Argonath SA:MP community.

Project: ARISE recognizes the current situation where plenty areas of the Argonath SA:MP community are in need of improvement. Therefore, it aims to contribute in the form of regularly spearheading events. These events do not only add more ways for players to have fun, but also allow winners to earn decent prizes, increasing the availability of methods through which players can progress financially on the server. While all players are allowed to organize events (with or without prizes) on the server, Project: ARISE is an initiative where event hosting is a dedicated role.

To achieve this objective, project volunteers raise their own funds to be used for organizing the events, with an average of $5000-$10,000 (or higher) for the winner. While doing so, these volunteers not only serve as active players and helpers, but may also contribute other means of improving the community, as well as being examples for others who wish to enjoy it.

Project: ARISE is open to all Argonath RPG players who meet the following conditions:

1. Willing to work as a VOLUNTEER (read: no pay); our reward is the fun of the players and the thanks we get for our service. This includes raising money to contribute to the Event Fund.

2. Knowledgable about and compliant with Argonath RPG rules and directives from administration, as well as patient and willing to help others.

3. Readiness to adhere to schedules and deadlines.

4. Regularly active ingame and checks the forum often, as well as Skype.

5. Ready to submit regular reports after events, detailing the events and its finances.

6. Trustworthy and reliable, especially with financial matters.

7. Ready to work in a team, which includes coordinating with fellow volunteers, and ready to take instruction from project leaders.

As we are currently consolidating our membership and finances, we will be focusing on more common events in the meantime so as to avoid budgetary constraints. Once our finances stabilize, expect the types of events we host to become more varied.

At the end of this week, we will be hosting our first two events on Friday (Feb. 21) and Saturday (Feb. 22), both at 20:00 CET. The type and venue of the events will be announced ingame.

Both will have prizes of $7500, $3500, and $1500 for the Winner, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place, respectively.
