Basically, the game has been edited to be controlled by viewers with a Twitch account by simply inputting gameboy buttons such as: a, b, d-pad, start, select

There's over 70,000 viewers, and they're all trying to control the person at once. Surprisingly, they managed to get 4 gym badges in 4 days. At one point, they were stuck on Route 9 for nearly 20 hours, and simply trying to cut a tree took several hours.
