SWEDEN

Sweden has a cruel and very dark history with much war and focus on military. Today's Sweden has grown to become something ordinary, far beyond what it once was. History changes much of what a country has been and it takes time. Sweden was the bad guys when they fought, we didn't defend, we had offensive strategic to take over Norway, Denmark and Russia. But not anymore...

The poverty that we had even up to 1880 AD is one factor why Sweden today have such high quality of living. The granting of social policies that became to inspiration us to head over a Socialism to secure that nobody will ever live in poverty again. The era of Social Democracy and left parties that ruled and secured social security, free days at weeks, vacation, free schooling, security of unemployment, free healthcare and much more. Also the raises of the industrial Sweden which is important for such structure to work.

SERBIA
 BATTLE OF KOSOVO - 1389

The Battle of Kosovo, also known as the Battle of Kosovo Field or the Battle of Blackbird's Field,  took place on St. Vitus' Day, June 15, 1389, between the army led by Serbian Prince Lazar Hrebeljanović, and the invading army of the Ottoman Empire under the leadership of Sultan Murad I. The army under Prince Lazar consisted of his own troops, a contingent led by Serbian nobleman Vuk Branković, and a contingent sent from Bosnia by King Tvrtko I, commanded by Vlatko Vuković. Prince Lazar was the ruler of Moravian Serbia, and the most powerful among the Serbian regional lords of the time, while Vuk Branković ruled a part of Kosovo and other areas, recognizing Lazar as his overlord. The Battle of Kosovo took place in the Kosovo Polje, about 5 kilometers northwest of modern-day Pristina.

In this gloriouse battle, Serbia, contrare to what people think and to what it was told in Serbian epic songs, triumphed. Serbs repelled the Turkish attack, made them retreat, and they were beaten so bad that they did not attack for next 5 decades. After 5 decades, Turks attacked again, but this time they triumphed over Austrian troops, but that is a whole diffrent story. Basicly, Turks were repelled so bad that they could reorganize and attack 50 years later. I believe that that is a victory for the Serbian people. Serbs heroicly repelled Turks, thus stopping Turks from conquering Europe. What many people do not know is that bells in all catholich churches ring exeactly at noon, and that is because the Pope ordered that in order for everyone to remember the victory of Serbs over the Turkish invaders.
