Most wars have been fought over Balkans than anything. So many blood spilled, just to get that small piece of Earth. Reason? It was and is the link of east and west. JUST IN SERBIA, you can find EVERY SINGLE ONE METAL from the mendelevs system of elements. Now, the fact that we are torn apart because of wars is another story... Anyway, Balkan is extreamly important

They stopped their advance cause ghenghis kan died, not cause Lithuanians stopped them .
