Yes, not sure if it has USB or 3.5mm port but it gives you 5:1 sound because there are speakers built into the controller, it has REALLY good speakers, a really well built controller, let me google what port it uses..

Yeah, having a semi-wireless( ) headset is good enough for me. It is cheaper too! So now is it as efficient as plugging it on the TV? I don't really want to spend a fortune on headset to find out that it doesn't give me the sound.

Yes, in some cases even more, because the controller itself is similar to a high def speaker, all you are doing is listening to the speaker with headphones, it is as efficient, that is for sure, possibly even more than wireless headphones.

Alright, the headset will be powered through the controller battery, let me explain this the simple way

TV gives console sound and video via HDMI, console emits bluetooth signal to the controller which has integrated speakers, by plugging in the headset you just listen to those speakers via your headset.

It's just like plugging a headset into your phone..

Well I'd say
Logitech Gaming Headset G330, but that might be because I'm in love with Logitech..
Not an headset expert here man, when I want to buy stuff I look at microphone quality, good luck on the hunt for a good headset.

I've done some research and come to a conclusion that I will purchase Turtle Beach PX22.
