Instead of automatically blocking freecop via script, why not just have the more experienced players teach them how to work properly as cop?

You are not from GTA IV aren't you?
It seems that we have to place in every tittle [GTA IV MP] in order to point it out for you guys

I know this is an idea for IV:MP. What I am wondering about is why it seems so hard to teach abuser/"abuser" cops how to work properly, especially as some of them are new players who do not know the rules properly yet.

The difference in servers does not affect the fact that players can be taught to follow rules, or punished if they refuse to comply.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

This caught my attention, just commenting on the first idea...

Quote from: Argonath Vision
Argonath recognizes that a part of the community is underage.

Therefore, the following is prohibited:
Swearing, flaming and insulting. Within roleplay this is allowed very limited and strictly bound to the situation. If there is any doubt about the slang/language used is for ropleplay only, administration has full right to take any measures they find necessary.

As for those "no admin"situations, they should be reported by the provided email or to a relevant administration member..

For the second idea, I would like something like that to prevent that minority/majority of rulebreaks suspections but... It can be easily by-passed. Same goes for the first idea, easy to go around it.

A direct aproach is indeed more useful then using scripts but... doesn't always works  :balance:

JDC you are surprisingly wrong. I tried to teach some new guys what to do but do you think that they even listenned to me? They say sorry i do not know english and they start doing bad things. But some weeks ago i met some guys who were willing to learn something. We rarely see those kind of guys in IVMP

Sadly on this matter I ll be against on your comment, these times I am not trying to teach cops how to act properly but I just can see people's behavior when I warn them about a wrong and how to fix himself and do the right but instead of listening, they prefer to do the way they want.. Sadly someone cant explain or change someone's behavior unless they have some rights over others such as administative powers.

Most of the newcomers cant even bother theirself to read 1 sentence without freeze or something else. So I understand that nor LCPD neither anybody experienced can teach players how to act properly. Of course there are exclusions, its some other thing but Im talking for the bigger part of players. Even regulars do something wrong  and refuse to listen, there is nothing to do till they get caught by administration.

Just Another one who is declared Public Enemy by the Authority, for expressing his thinkings without harming anybody.Who cares to stand in a community if you cannot express your feelings, your thinking anyway.

[SFC] might be banned with a single pointless accusing, though we know no one gonna forget 3 years of full rping gang by a single pointless, full of constant misunderstanding and ignorant 4 people's ban.We know we'll live in hearts who knew us,which have been our only treasure for us.

As for word filtering - no need for it as players would find the way to express themselves anyway with maybe separating the word into syllables and such. It wouldn't help much, so no reason for it.

As for second suggestion - I don't see need for it as well. New players that join police duty usually don't know the procedures and rules that officers should follow. No restriction, nor "error" won't stop them for suspecting someone for invalid reason. It might be "carjacking" but once it says "error", he ll most likely type "car stealing" instead. And none of them won't suspect for cop baiting, they just use "hit and run" etc.
I think better solution for this would be finding the way to teach them about job they are about to do. Regular players that RP as officers should do most of the job, by making patrols with new players and while doing so they might teach them the rules and regulations. And they are not doing it at all, or at least in very rare occasions. So guilt doesn't only goes to new players, it also goes to regular ones as well...

Point of this nonsense I wrote - not supporting, can be bypassed easily so not really needed.

You 'll bump on someone who will and that is most important. Those who don't want to learn will sooner or later be punished for their wrong actions...
