Goldberg, war is not always fair. Things are done, for the stupidest of reasons. Countries battle, because they are greedy, power hungry, or see that they do not have enough resources, so they must somehow get an income in, or more land.

America went into Iraq to hunt Saddam, and they were successful. America are still in Iraq, because they are rehabilitating the war torn land, and they are trying to keep peace for a while, because Iraq cannot keep peace without American Reinforcments at this minute. When Iraq was with no Soldiers but their own, the death toll was an incredible amount, and with American troops now taking over, it is slowly going down, but, that is not saying that people do not die in Iraq still. America is not there to take over Iraq, they are there to help Iraq get back on their feet, and put an end to violence.

I really don't think this topic will help but i feel for you I'm a Muslim and really proud . And Jews took our country but i cant blame the Jews citizen. Whats the point of this discussion if both sides in this useless war are on the wrong side? Do you think the terrorists who blow up the cars in the markets and kill innocent civilians, women, childs, are better then the American soldiers that rape or torture the iraqi prisoners? (Have you ever seen those videos and picture? I will not link them for obvious reasons, but they are not top secret...) I don't think the Americans Pro-Iraq-Afghanistan-War  and the Arab terrorists are in the position to criticize each others. In my opinion the UN Blue Helmets should be the only army in the world allowed to invade a state for peace keeping missions or protection of the human rights. All the others invasions are just abuses for economic or political reasons, for example the Petrol, or a religion..or an ideology.

invasion of iraq has compromised that area, probably forever or for at least 20 years...just hope that Bin Laden and Bush will die before somebody invents the cybernetic bodies.
