Going off of Teddy's quote, SMF 2.1.x will be offering a much better theming system with full mobile browser support, assuming the theme itself is designed to support this. Once released, this modification won't really be necessary to properly get the pages to show up, as they will automatically transform to a mobile mode when accessed with an applicable device.
As for this theme itself, I'm trying to remake it in SMF 2.1.x, however it is incredibly difficult as the base was never upgraded to the current version of SMF 2.0.x, and the original author has since disappeared. If anyone is interested in assisting that has decent PHP, HTML, CSS, and SMF 2.x knowledge, shoot me a PM and maybe we can get the design working with wireless browsers for future use.
For those interested in SMF 2.1.x's mobile support plans, here is an example rendering of a theme in SMF 2.1.x using the mobile mode:

Do keep in mind that as the world transitions more and more to smartphone usage that these "legacy" methods are needed less and less. Yes, they do load faster and use less data, but most smartphones now support full desktop versions of websites natively. Worst case scenario, that can be used too.
