Hello Reader,

First of all, let me tell you to those who will be claiming 'omg there is allready tons of topics about runescape' - yes there are, they are all dead.
Second of all, to those who will be whining about how bad runescape is etc, please stay out of this topic (you don't go to a hooker if she has testikels and you dislike testikels, amiright?)


Now, I'll be making a decent topic soon (read : hire someone to do it cause i'm lazy). But the question is :

Who here still plays it?

Anyone playing on the 2007 one? I consider checking it out and would appreciate opinions on its economy/community/bot amount/etc.

Haven't played it in some time, was mainly a skiller back in the days (and invester/merchanter).

Was also playing 2007 version for some time since I used to play back in 2005, the times when I most enjoyed it. Over time though I disliked the direction it was heading in and how the developers were just milking money from the game in various ways (since less people are playing than a couple years ago).

Just before I stopped playing, I invested my bank in some rare items in case I ever came back. Most rares have barely even increased in value since 2 years ago...

So yeah, that's my experience anyway. I may return one day, who knows.

So today Jagex released a new client for Runescape 3 named NXT, which is a scrapped version of the HTML5 client they planned to implement a few years ago. This is supposed to deliver longer draw distance, better graphics, improved performance and pre-loaded areas. Good lord, this doesn't look like the Runescape I remember anymore:



Anybody else still playing it?

I really miss the old times, started playing late 2001 and after RS2.0 i got tired, but it was awesome childhood play. Sometimes i log in, once in a year for sure lol

Yeah... back in 2006 this was the "big thing" at our high school... never did get anywhere near level 99 in all the stats though...
