If someone has spent x amount of years on the server that means they've spent x amount of years gaining respect and he or she ought to be respected for that, you even say it yourself, it has to be earned not given, and if someone spends x amount of years earning respect, they deserve it.

Not saying I give two f**ks about when anyone registered their accounts, or that you have to automatically kiss someones ass cause they've played on the server longer than you, what I am saying is that you shouldn't neglect the fact that it's those high-horsed asswhipes that's kept this server running for the past few years.

An example:
I hate JDC and every post he's ever made, but I respect the fact that he's been making those f**king posts for over seven years.

I thought that it was going to be clear that i didn't referred to the all the olders members in general as not everyone is how i said. I was just referring to all the sh*tters that just get online in game and forums to post st*pid things and act like we should hail them for that only because they made their accounts before us.

Yes respect has to be earned and there's some of the old guys who yet has not showing anything from their side to receive any of it. I mean, I'm not going to respect the fact that someone has been trolling and shitting for over five, six or seven years.

A veteran is someone that has spent their time wisely by contributing to the server and community alike, not just having an old registration date whilst being a nuisance or even inactive.

Absolutely, regardless of how long someone's been around for the devalued, materialistic rank they hold, they're not deserving of any extra respect until they genuinely give back to those around them.

I have met some incredible people in Argonath and elsewhere who've been around for a lot shorter time than the self delusional so called 'veterans', in their various roles and positions.

Age doesn't matter beyond a point, but contributions should. : )
