It's satisfying see Argonath has helped influence the career decisions of those who are into Computer Science ( :D ), Engineering, Medicine (I know several), RL law enforcement, law, and other fields. I myself am considering a possible law degree (computer/telecommunications law) and a career at IBM. (one of the world's best tech/computer companies)

Same goes with the level of English. Even if I mastered the language long before I came here, the community still increased my skill as I was able to use it in ways I normally wouldn't IRL.

For the aspiring computer programmers/developers, if you can already make your way around in this community, then you are not "too young" to start learning programming. Resources such as www.codeacademy.com and other programming-made-easy modules can help you get a good start, I would highly recommend them as you can make significant progress even in a year or less.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

Well as a lot of you know, I'm finishing my Physics/Maths Bachelor degree this summer as I only have my thesis to defend in June. After that, well, going ahead and enroll myself to Masters degree in teaching Physics and Maths to high schoolers.
Has Argonath influenced it? No, not really I would have ended up becoming a teacher anyway.

And we do not try to be real life, as why would you ever play real life if you have one ? We play the GTA universe, and our players should try to live in the GTA world, not the real one.

I don't think Argonathrpg affected my decision to go into computing at all. I'm a software engineer at the moment, but, to be honest, my main interest is in hardware/networks. Software just happens to be better paid (a lot  :D ). I'll probably aim to retire early/go part time and pursue some part time flight instruction or be a motorbike instructor, since aviation and motorcycles are my main interests.

One of the things that Argonath has shown me is that with a common aim and purpose with which to cooperate on, then a lot can be achieved. All of us here are sat in different places around the world, at different times but all playing the same game and having fun. It's no matter what the political situation is in your country, if you have rioting in your streets or you are going through a revolution, when you open up the game you can forget about it all and enjoy. No where can you find a place which is unique in that it is open up to anyone whoever they are, no matter who they are as long as they wish to get along with others.

- What career do you consider starting later on (or are already starting) in real life?: I'm planning on being a police officer, constable to be more exact. I'm currently already starting what I'm planning on, I'm currently the sergeant of the Junior division of the Police Volunteer group in our county.
- Has Argonath (or anything / anyone you encountered in/ through it) influenced your future decisions? Why so?: It has certainly taught me the importance it teamwork, it also has taught me some diplomacy, because it's very needed in this kind of work. Also, it has taught me to stick to my opinion no matter what, and it helps me in a lot of situations in real life.

Future, I am a chartered accountant. Use do a little bit  of programming, when was in an institute. Actually, I was doing a computer course which included web development, programming, networking, hardwaring. When I came on the programming session I feel it interesting and so on I learned it from that institute as w :v:ell as from my own. SAMP, then Argonath, a friend gave it to me and told me to play. Of course, it was TeaM_Hamza. I earned many friends. I got the way to communicate with foreigners, got myself established as a player, I am thinking on to move on with SAMP scripting. But future, I want to be a chartered accountant (money+interest). I got this profession by my auncle who is a really established guy (rich as well). I am thinking of becoming a small programmer ( as a side job in future). Argonath, gave me a standard of living, I used to play 8 ball poll (lol). I tried many servers but the most epic/ awesome server I got is Argonath RPG. I am in try to find something on Argonath related to accountants or some business. Hope, I succeed with it and the leaders approve that idea. Long live Argonath.

I would like to go into Human Resources Management, coupled with a joint MBA+JD degree (Master of Business Administration + Juris Doctorate) to eventually enter the law field for labor relations.

Argonath is a great resource of this, I get to work with personnel management every day in the SAPD. Argonath, in a way, has helped "focus" my career direction and the part of business I wanted to enter.

If you guys really want to improve all aspects of your English, come and join TeamSpeak. I can think of many many many tens of millions of people whose English has improved because of chatting to people.

Don't be nervous because you think you have a weird accent, or because you don't remember every word. Just chatting to other people regularly will soon have you speaking English like a pro (*looks at Chris Corleone*).

I'm sure others will agree.

Agreed, I think that I got at least 30 percent of my English skill due to chatting on team speak, starting only patrol channels to moving out to you and the other guys, helped me allot. And I'd say thank you for that.

Argonath did influence my life alot, it made me more serious since the task I had at the time.. I used to be a Air Division Wing Commander.. I'm going to apply for the French Air Force, if that doesn't work, I'll try to continue in the IT and in last case scenarior I'll become teacher (which I actually like)

Exactly. If you join TeamSpeak regularly and comunicate with other users, your pronuncation and vocabulary bank expands over and over. I agree with you.
