Okay the day before yesterday I downloaded an ENB mod from a suspicious site(fucking bad move).
I have actually seen two things happening which eventually stop and come back at times.

So when it all started I had both my Chrome Browser but also the Steam starting up alone with several ad pages, after several scans and repairs I managed to pretty much stop that from Chrome, but my Steam does it sometimes still.

About teh browser ti self I get this annoying "word" adds, which means that in commond words I get a small pope up window when I get my mouse over them with an add in it.

About opening random sites, some times I end up with a new chrome window and several adds in it(including the argonath site I believe).

So yeah could anyone help me in anyone of those? Also sorry if I used the wrong section please move it in the right one.

Some interesting issues you have, try a HitmanPro scan - http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro
If all else fails, a Trend Housecall scan - http://housecall.trendmicro.com/uk/

Wouldn't do any harm to run a Malwarebytes scan - http://www.malwarebytes.org/

I'll try them now, btw I noticed that the issue with the many windows opening with adds is pretty much attached with Steam mainly , when I join a game called Neverwinter

What you have is not a virus. It is Adware...an ad-based form of Spyware that spies on your activities, reports back to a system somewhere, and serves you ads based on what it believes you are interested in. Less-developed versions of Adware will also show you random ads based on what spam companies have been paid to display.

Did that ENB install some other program? It usually installs anti virus, so all you have to do is to delete the program that was installed.

ENB should not be installing anti-Virus programs for you. You may have installed a fake one, which is likely malicious itself.

Also, anti-Virus programs will not remove Spyware or Adware, despite their claims. You should always have an anti-Spyware program installed alongside your anti-Virus one.

I tried all three of the links from Devin, the last one seems to work so far.
But just in case I'd like this topc to remain here for a little more, also I will probably also add an Anti-Spyware as you suggested. Thank you very much for your time guys.

I already have this, the home edition without live protection and it used to be enough to wipe out every virus that I ever came up to. This is the only time that it didn't instantly work and that's why I asked for your help.

If you download and install ENBs in the future, just use the d3d9.dll, enbseries and palette if you are unsure about the files that comes with the ENB. :p

Well the thing is that I mainly got in trouble while downloading it. As I either had to use torrent or a program. As a guy from Argonath told me to download I guessed that it is safe, but it wasn't. Anyway I totally deleted the folder and everything as despite of the trouble i got in for it, it wasn't worth it at all.

Just a quick question... Do you have AdBlocker for Chrome? IF not then my suggesting would be to install that extension. Not using AdBlocker isn't a problem, just thought it would  help.

I added it the moment this problem started. Thank you for your concern. By the way, my problem seems pretty solved, so I guess this topic can get locker or whatever.

Thank you guys for your help, it certainly got me out of the trouble.

1. Spybot Search & Destroy is an anti-Spyware program. It will not do anything to impact viral infections on your system. It only deals with Spyware and Adware.
2. If you do not have it actively scanning your computer all of the time, then it is a useless security program for your system. You should be using something that constantly checks your computer for malicious software so it can stop it before it causes damage, not just after.

As for Spybot Search & Destroy itself, yes. It has a long history of being a great anti-Spyware program. Just remember, though: It does not protect against viruses or root-kits. You also need an anti-Virus program for that.

This worked for me aswell.

By the way if you were to suggest an anti-virus which one would you? Both free and non (pref free). Also what about Microsoft Security Essentials?
