If you've got Java, you can learn what games you can play without lag by this website, it's so useful. Here is the website : www.systemrequirementslab.com if I remember correct.

Beware though. GTA IV is notorious for being bad on the computer. It's a terrible console port and you'll probably find you need way more than the "recommended" specification to play smoothly with high quality graphics.

If you can run the game but it is unplayable, try using Contig and commandline. They tweak your game's graphics and make it more playable. I got a laptop with Intel HD Graphics and by using the commandline and Contig, it made it way more playable
