Can I play this using EFLC instead of IV? Cuz I'm not in the mood to dl 14GB now. :/

No actually they are not the same , each one of them has it's own client. Multiv works on EFLC and IVMP works on GTA:IV.

by the way im downloading eflc what sort of update or patch should i have to make it work ?

You need EFLC 1.1.2.0 to download and work it properly, as I know. If you have the game on Steam it should be updated without having to do anything.

I'm wondering something,in gta 4 eflc they made more enterable buildings,lets say my friend doesn't have eflc and I have it.So will I be the only one that can access the building or whaT??

Look GTA:IV and GTA:EFLC are both different games with different stories, you can't play with your friend if he doesn't have EFLC, EFLC is not some sort of an update, it's a game.

Don't think them as an expansion pack, patch or a DLC.

I can't seem to be able to join, I enter the correct IP, when the game loads, I can see the happiness island, and then spawn in water, no chat or anything.
