If they think you're too much of a drama queen, you can change that, as being a drama queen is not a great deal of your personality. Or if they say you talk too much about eating cookies, you might want to stop talking so much about cookies.

I will not stop eating the cookie cause someone else doesn't like it, cause in my opinion I like the cookie.

My post was not mainly directed against changing yourself, I was more leaning to the fact that if you ask your friends, if they like you for who you are, and if they do not, you need to go looking for other friends. Cause the insecurity of not knowing is a pain in the ass. It's the feeling you get when you feel you're not wanted, but you do not know for sure, and that's when I think you should actually ask your friends if they want you there or not.

Also, your example is stupid, cause just because the guy is handsome, rich and has a flawless life, doesn't mean he's a good person. Also, he must have real friends too, who DO like him for who he is, and if he does not, he should go looking for friends who do like him for who is is.

If you ask friends what they feel about you - they are not friends for you...
As soon as you will go asking people such questions - wait for troubles... Some people will not like such questions as "trust checker", others will start thinking "why he asked? Did he make something wrong?" Others will think "oh he wants me to kiss his ass telling what a nice guy he is"...

While you will not feel yourself wrong, no any friend will help... And in many cases such questions have a negative reaction as from people same from friends...

Yep right what I said - test checker... If you are unsure - that are not your friends... If you are sure in your friends - they are real friends...
If you wanna test others what they think about you - watch their reactions... But do not go and ask everyone "Hey what you think about me?" cos it is a sign of an lonely ego that wanna hear he is cool or a loser, that thinks he is down already... Do not think your friends will like any of this points...

And do not think your friends will like such "tests" on them...

I was more leaning on reading between the lines, not actually coming up to them saying: do you like me? but doing it in a discrete way overtime.

Take my friends for an example, sometimes they feel extremely much like my friends, but sometimes it's like they are trying to step back from me, trying to keep me away from them.
Your friends can be your friends, even if you feel they are not from time to time. Lets say I was rich, and I felt a guy only was hanging out with me cause I was rich, but really he was not, he was my friend, cause he liked who I was. But just because I was unsure about it, I stopt seeing him.'

but ofc, I see what you're saying. But myself I do not share your opinion. I am sure about MY friends, and that they are my friends, but I'm not sure that I'm their friend. Or just someone they are with when they are bored, or need something from me.

If you only see of life as having friends, I pitty you.
I have self control, and there are people who likes to be with me, but the ones I like to be with, I am not sure if they like to be with me. And that has absolutley nothing to do about not knowing what I want from life, and not having self control over yourself and your position in a group. You can not come in the middle of a group and then just stand exactly where you want, cause it's not all up to you.
