Kick Vote (/votekick)

We have experienced some stupid people , who had flooded all the chat , and cant stop. So we should need a /votekick function , like in counter strike etc. so we shouldnt need to wait for admins and be dependent from them. A kick should be done , if half of server (if there are at least 10 players online total) and could be like that:
Rulebreaker(0) Kicked by Server for </votekick Reason>.

It could make the community significantly better,  and we couldnt have to wait for an admin to come to solve our problems.

i like this idea especially in my timezone..there are no chance of admin coming cuz they are sleeping and almost half are rulebreakers

Sure. I would just add - If someone abuses command or vote "yes" when command is abused, should get perm ban.

I can already predict this system to be used in a way it should not be. There is a reason people do not have the ability to kick, because they are no admins. Not saying they should not be able to judge situations neutral, but if they/we create and launch a 'votekick-system' as in Counter Strike. How do you prevent people from kicking the ones they do not like? Get a group together and just votekick him out of the game.

I think the best way is still to use your F8-button and send the offenses towards [email protected]. Several people should not be given these ability, in order to avoid abuse. Yeah, sorry to say but I am SURE this will be abused.

However this system can be abused by regulars , and regulars abusing isn't a good thing. Something more restricted should be done for this system..

There are votekick systems in most server-based FPSs, and the way it ends up being is some dude just goes "zomg u got haxx you filthy mothertrucker" whenever he dies and initiates kicking literally half the server.
How about we get more admins from varied time zones, not like it is now, when we have plenty of admins, but they all are clumped together timewise

The mass of players who would abuse this command is higher than the one who would use it the right way. And even if we punish the abusers like John_Doe said, it would just generate loads and loads of permbans and the unban requests would be flooded like hell, its just not worth it.

If there are rulebreakers annoying everyone while there is no admin arround, you have plenty of ways to contact an admin outside the game. You can contact us via skype, we have a skype group that is perfect to be used in this purpose... you can also send a forum PM to any of us if we appear online here. I think a command to give everyone the ability to kick someone is not the best idea.

may be we can do like we need atleast 20 or 10 voters to have /votekick to work

Totally Unsupported we have A team and lets let them do there job, as for no admin rule breakers take screenshots PM admin on forums and it will be handled, this command might get abused and players might get kicked for fun imagine 5 non English players who are new get there hands on this? 5 of them and lets say 2 of regulars, regulars will get perma kicked..wanna see that happening I don't.

Good idea. But then what is the point of the moderator applications it would be unfair for players to kick other players and those who waited long to becaome admin might as well not have singed up for application if public could use this command.

No it seems you don't get the point, this has nothing to to with mod applicants and A team it self, its more like community kick with what i can agree is not needed, and good to have. Due to all possible abuses even jokes with friends that could get them kicked easily, and besides with so small player base as 32 players where we all know each other, this could be implemented only on new players who have no passport, but then we would make a gap between regulars and new players that is not needed and i'm strongly against it.
