SA:MP starts Singleplayer.

I've been trying to fix this for a few days now, but it just wont bugger allong.

I have done what Marc said, and turned of the shield thingy on AVG, Then reinstalled SA:MP. - Still doesn't work.

I have downloaded the same version of the game that Jnn is using, and it's working for him. - Not me.

I am using the no-CD patch from Argonath rpg site. - Not working.

I have reinstalled the game and SA:MP many times. - Still does not work.

I do not have any kind of extra mods or cheats for either Singleplayer or SA:MP.

And still, it just wont work... Please, someone, help me

Try to reinstall SAN ANDREAS and delete all files in GTA San andreas user files exept User tracks and Gallery. That should help i guess

Single Player Loads instead of SA:MP

YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SEE THE SINGLE PLAYER OPTIONS (NEW GAME, LOAD GAME, ETC) - SA:MP SHOULD LOAD BY ITSELF AND NOT PRESENT THESE OPTIONS. IF YOU SEE "NEW GAME" SINGLE PLAYER HAS LOADED, NOT SAN ANDREAS MULTIPLAYER.

Single Player can load for 2 reasons - you have installed SA:MP to the wrong folder, or you have the wrong version of San Andreas and if you have the wrong version (you see v2.00 at the bottom-right of the screen when the single player loads) it's easy to fix. download this down grader that makes it the right version. click here to download the downpager.

I did not install SA:MP in a wrong way, and I have the correct version of the game.

Check gta folder for samp.dll, maybe one of yers firewall or antivirus took it down, try dissabling av, and do u use AVG?

I'm using AVG, but my samp.dll has not been removed, nor does turning AVG off work.

Make sure you use  SA:MP 0.2.2 R2.
And not the 0.2.1  version.

Sinds the new server is running on 0.2.2 R2.

BAHA! erm sorry... Anyway i had the same problem easily fixed... Sa-mp 0.1b had all the necessary samp files.. so u gotta download that first.. then download 0.2.2 R2

Same problem was for me, i reinstalled SA:MP and choosed the folder of SA then it worked
