An addendum:
If the thought process for delaying review dates is analogous to sentencing someone to time in jail/prison, then you'd be sorely mistaken. The problem is, when imprisoning someone, they are not free and have nothing to do but think about what landed them in the big house, assuming that they're not misbehaving and up to no good, that is. By delaying people's review times here, you're not punishing them. It's more analogous to bad customer service from a service provider/retailer.
Everyone is spoiled for choice, in fairness. Nobody's going to think about what they've done for very long and lose any sleep over it. So they're not going to sit around twiddling their thumbs in contemplation of the erroneous behavior that got them banned. That's just the reality of the situation. Getting banned ranks very low compared to other worries. It's a game. You're a service provider. We're customers. If the admins believe otherwise, then it's nothing but naive of you. Or, alternatively, you do it to experience a power trip. Regardless, the original intended purpose doesn't get served. It's just something for you all to consider and I felt that it would have been careless of me not to post about it. It's not intended as abuse so don't take it as such.
If nothing else takes my fancy in the next two weeks, I plan on checking in on the 21st for my review. Otherwise...
Thank you for your time.
