An introduction to myself

Hello you lot, or as I say per-join; Wagwan.

I wanted to take the time to introduce myself to the community, and get to know some of you. Although, I have already familiarized myself with common players through my six days of playing.


My name is Callum, I live in South-London, England, and have been an avid game player {I refuse to use the word 'gamer', as it's been worn to death. Yes, I am at obnoxious} for about 12-3 years. Of which started with Sonic, then moved to further Sonic iterations, before being dominated by the shooting franchise, such as Mercenaries. I have also very much enjoyed tactile games, that of which have an emphasis on narrative, such as, The Getaway series. I moved onto PC gaming in late 2009, barely five years ago. My first PC-played title was GTA: Vice City. Although, my records still show only a collection of 62 hours, so, ...you know. ((Meh))

I've spent my PC-game-playing {See, it's happened again!} playing predominantly online games, although, I do never constrict myself to this, and enjoy games such as GTA IV:MP & outlast. My favorite form of game narrative {Since I only ever play SPs for story} is action or meaning. For example, The Getaway featured gang wars, and a police officer's very sublime struggle with shooting dead an armed teenager. Now THAT, was some hefty stuff. On-top of this, I enjoy Multiplayer games due to the fact it's both an imagination ((in most cases)) or dynamically driven environment. You never REALLY know what could happen. {...}

Still, never-the-less, I did come to introduce myself, not go-on about my play style. So, let me do just that, 'alone'.


My name is Callum, known on the server as previously Calcum, but now Charlie_Calston {RPing name}, I have been playing for just six days, but think my prior MP experience has helped me along. I can be seen playing on the server for up to a full 5 hours on my off days. And I typically work as an arms dealer, racer and all-round profiteer, working off of people's cash to build up my life. I am also trying to make a name for myself in the RP world, so I can have a bit more stig with a family I hope to apply for, soon.

I engage in RP as much as I can, and think my college-and-now days of both personal and professional writing help me along with the imagination and continuation of a story, which is also a great factor of my online play. I'd like to think I am very easy to speak to, and never cause drama, un-less of-course, there is some to be caused. 

I spend most of my time, like I said, earning money, for later usage, but also engaging in car banter, and experimenting with IV:MP's and ARPG's systems. Including advanced role play of systematic occurrences, like that time I was threatened to have my *ock 'blown off' with a high powered rifle, if I didn't beg. It'd be good to note, and to avoid any nicknames, that I am still able to re-produce, yaaay!

I was once robbed for a single shoe lace at knife point.

I was once arrested for ABH, which, with the case, caused my bike to be damaged, during the interview I stopped an officer in his tracks and said... 'Wait... Actual Bodily Harm?!, shouldn't it be Actual Bike Harm?!' - I was realized moments later, and was given a nod by the sergeant.

I work for a game design studio called Maker's Lair, as a writer and audio arts director.

I once spent all of 2008, thinking it was 2007.

My favorite games {Series, or singles} are as follows; Mercenaries, The Getaway, Grand Theft Auto, Bully, Tony Hawks, Evil Dead.
