Hey everyone, I've came here with two issues today.
I have recently installed windows 8 and it is running great, I sadly encountered two issues.

First issue - Single player starting up

I am using a duel screen mode, so if I try joining a samp server this pops up
I click okay and it usually runs fine.
But sometimes it also starts up in single player, I've never had this issue before and it is quite annoying. Anyone may know the reason for this.
I am using modification on my game if wondering.

Issue two: Hibernate/sleep mode auto startup.

So, I like putting my computer in hibernate or sleep mode , just because it wakes up quickly, I sadly encountered some issues with this. Every time I do this, my computer 'shuts down' like it should in the mode I picked. But then a second or two after it starts up again. I have no clue why this is happening and I would like this to be fixed.

I hope someone can help me and I'd like to thank you in advance for reading this and giving a possible solution.

Best regards, Brian/Andrew.

Check the wake on lan settings with regards to starting up.

This is usually fixed by deleting gta_sa.set, sa-mp.cfg, and USERDATA.DAT. Make sure to back those files up if it doesn't fix it. Disable any compatibility for both SA:MP and GTA:SA after deleting them. Start up single player and set your graphics and key bindings up. After this, run SA:MP and set that up as normal. You will have to re-add any servers.

Which mod? Some ENB versions cause single player launchers to occur.

You either have misconfigured System Sleep States or you have a device that's waking it up. The first one depends on your BIOS and power plan. Check your motherboard's instructions. If you have a device waking it up, it's a process of finding out which one is the culprit by plugging out devices until you have the right one. After you find out which one it is, go to device manager and find the device causing problems. It will likely have a "Power Management" tab. Untick "Allow this device to wake the computer".

Another reason could be due to SkyDrive syncing issues. I really don't know how to help with that so I would just Google.

If none of those solutions work, toggle "Turn on Fast Startup" in the power settings.

Stop asking me when episode 7 comes out!
