Let's start from 1981, where everything started. In a small barrio called El Corona in Los Santos, Vagos used to have their territory. The Los Santos Vagos were known for being extremely tough and aggressive, and El Corona did not like that. Much of the origin is unknown, but all we know is that they set up a gang in no time at all. They chose Cesar Vialpando as their leader, since he was the wisest and the most skillful of them. The first thing they did upon the creation of the VLA is kick the Vagos out of El Corona, Little Mexico, and Unity Station. This happened very fast. People were amazed by how the VLA got heavy arms in such little time. Now that they controlled their own turf, they could concentrate on strengthening their gang. They adapted the hobby which had always been in El Corona, Lowriding. Soon, El Corona had the city's best lowriders. The VLA started organizing lowriding competitions in Unity Station, and soon this began to be one of their big sources of money. Cesar started meeting CJ's sister Kendl, which got the VLA in some kind of relations with Grove Street. However, after CJ was thrown out of town, Kendl and Cesar followed him, leaving the VLA on its own. By this time Cesar already had his one and only child, Marco. He left him in El Corona to be taken care by his grandmother. When Cesar returned after some years, Vagos had partly occupied El Corona. But they were so little that with the arms of the VLA, they were easily kicked out. During the next five years, the VLA became one of Los Santos's main gangs, alongside Grove Street. Cesar and Kendl however moved to Mexico, leaving their son Marco Vargas in control.




Varrios Los Aztecas is a Mexican street gang operating in Los Santos. Our turf includes El Corona, Little Mexico, and Unity Station.



VLA members can be recognized by the blue colors and the blue headband. We are one of the most heavily armed gangs. We also take part in the drug industry. We are very much influenced by lowriders.
