Desktop is easy place to remember so thats why I save my files there for the moment
But I'm gonna reinstall XP soon anyway.

Whats the point of a high res. like that, most games wont run at it, pics will be tiny.

WTF are you on about, most games are not effected by the desktop resolution unless you play windowed mode. Even then, they would be BETTER QUALITY! I have NEVER had video problems for a game due to desktop resolution

It's pretty obvious why I do it, so I can see more things. If you think it's too small then your eyes are just not up to par.  :conf:

About the icons, I call that geek desktop, it's a way that geeks use alot cause unlike normal people, they need to have has much shit has possible without having to click somewhere before.
You can actually measure someone's geekness level by the number of icons on desktop.
It's proved cause when I was developing VC:MP server I had lots of icons too.  :roll:

Having a lot of icons on desktop does not make you geek (also your implying all devs are geeks). Moreover, about 50% of my icons were from firefox downloads (did not assign actual folder) and about 25% were totally unused. You should see what I reposted of my desktop, the CLEAN one.

games max resolution is never higher than 1200x1000. Pics, photos and other stuff like that.

I didn't remembered that default firefox puts every file into desktop, I hate that, I turned it off after installing.
