For one like mine would cost about $2000 (in dollars), for Alienware it costs a huge ammount because of the quality.

Alienware? Quality?

Definately not. I could build a computer myself for $1000 that would cost $2000+ from Alienware. Same goes for Dell, Compaq, Hp, etc. If you guys want a gaming computer, build it yourself! Don't waste your money on name brands!

I always keep my computer updated with the latest windows updates. I assume its only clever to do so, since loopholes r discovered every now and then, and with the updates, all the friggin holes r patched. :D

And yeah, its a pain in the ass with the genuine thing, but those that have legit copy of w!nDoW$, dont have to go through the genuine copy check before every update. :)

I bought an OEM version Windows myself when I ordered my computer parts. I let Windows do as it pleases, if it want to update, so be it.

Oh, and here's my desktop:

I bought my laptop for £500 - about $1000, and It came prebuilt, (Laptops cant be home made as easily unless you have a room with no atmosphere :p),

Its not Alienware, its not Dell, Its an Advent 7111, Dual  core processor, one meg ram, everything I wanted, had Windows Media centre prebuilt into it.  In my honest opinion, this laptop kicks ass, mainly because it has the specs to run WoW, SA and VC at the same time, itl lag a bit on all three, but its possible.  (I played SA on a DM server, played a lil Wow as I hid behind something to keep my score, and had another game patching in the background =D
