Okay, first of all, I am a strong supporter of RS5 and anti-RS4 kind of person, but the obvious thing is that most players seem to be dissatisfied with most RS5 features, which has resulted in current dying state of the RS5 server. It's enough to blabber around complaining and instead, let's try to come up with a solution of how RS5 could be fixed. So this is what I have been able to comprehend so far:

1. Remove the jurisdriction system - it's far too complicated and restrictive. Let the SAPD enforce their jurisdrictions. It's very annoying when you are in Los Santos jurisdriction, but somebody decides to shoot on you in SF, and you can't suspect him, therefore you're helpless.
2. Re-add the missing features of RS4 ASAP, such as trains. So many uneccessary things were added, while the most simple and basic, but important ones were overlooked.
3. Disable the city chat or make the public chat default - in my opinion the city chat is pretty useless.

Please add your own input of what should be changed. But it should be not because you want it, but because you noticed that there is a public demand of a certain change.

There has been many topics with this "ok lets fix things"-spirit. It's up to the scripters now. They know what the community wants and needs, cause this has been discussed in, what feels like, 100 topics. I just feel like "do we really need to take this yet another round?"

Day to day you can't stay on "1+1=2".It sounds simple and understandable..but day to day you're growing..you evolve and you need more knowledge.That's what is rs5.An evolution.

It would have been if it was released finished. I still play on Argonath so im not really complaining but yeah seeing the playerbase drop as it did sucked.

Player base dropped mostly because a lot of players thought that thet were robbed when their money was reset. since the start of RS5 the actual player base has slowly, but surely risen.

You might have loved RS4, but i surely hated it. Why? Not for the features, but because it was a pain in the ass to work with. Code wise, RS4 had been worked on by so many people which eventually did lead it to become such a mess that a 10 minute fix would take 60 minutes since we needed t ofigure out what the code actually did before we could touch it.

If we would have stuck with RS4, you would most likely never see anything new added to the server due to the state RS4 was in code wise. And for those complaining with the reason "but why didn't you add all the new changes directly into RS4?" should know that to add all these changes into RS4, it would require even more job than it took to rewrite everything from scratch.

Please explain to me in detail how adding trains to the server which no one almost never used for the real purpose is so much more important than bug fixing?

We will most likely re-add vehicles such as trains, but it's a job for the future as we got more important matters to deal with first.
