I personally think Mafia 1 is better, Mafia 2 is only technologically better.

I was about to post this and also bump. Mafia 1 is way better than Mafia II. It has lots of animations that are suitable for a server such as Argonath, because Mafia 1 was far more interactive than Mafia II was. Besides, Mafia I just has this cool feeling about it that II doesn't have. Also, Mafia 1's map is huge compared to II's.
