I think it will be good if only players who have passport can be cops! it will better for the citizens and less problems with /su abuse, carkilling, dm and other rulebreaks.. 

Been suggested. Let's find something that won't be so limiting to new(players).

we all suffer from  this , but as bojan said we must not limit players actions , so we can suggest a training period or a test to take to be a freecop, and server can recuit examiners from highranked cops ... , so i totally support your idea , we just have to find a way to make it more flexible and understandable especially we are talking about newcomers here .

Actually, it is like this in all the Argonath Server (Except MTA:SA which is not under supervision of the commissionaire). This is set up in a way that everyone should be able to RP as any role they want.

What I would suggest is that everyone with a passport would receive more equipment than an officer which has no passport.

Most of newcomers like to play as a cop , So why do they need to wait 7 days to go on cop duty ?
what would they do in those 7 days ? other jobs are kinda boring,
Why not learning them instead of making them unable to be cops.

yeah we should and we do as much as we can , and thats the main thing of having this server RP , and helping each other , but with creatign a systeme for it i think things would be more official and will give newcommers a chances to get  aban or temp/ban.... .

From what I've seen, being 2 years in the criminal side and now turning to the law side as well, criminal organizations cause more problems than the SAPD LCPD. What I want to say is, you ask for cops to be limited, when the criminals are around DMing, copbaiting, and many more kinds of trouble.

We should all understand that SAPD LCPD is a group, just like i.e. Gvardia is. It's just more organised, and that's legit. Do not ask for players not to be allowed to go on Cop duty when they can be criminals from the first day they joined. They can cause as much trouble as cops.

And trust me, it's easier to avoid being abused by a cop, by following the instructions the law side has been giving for years, but no one uses because he's lazy, than avoid being DMed by criminals that fail to RP properly.

Also, try to teach them, and if they don't co-operate, then you may report them to SAPD LCPD with valid evidence.

hmm ye maybe you are right.. I help when someone ask for help and always try to   we should teach them, but I see how sometimes a newcomer ask an admin for help, but most of the admins don't even try to help him or even to hear what he wants help with, the same is with most of the old players :/ .....

Stop discriminating on new players. Just a couple of months ago, you were a new player yourself, and will always be a new player from the perspective of those who came years before you.

Instead of whining, try teaching them to become good players / cops. If you find yourself whining while doing that, you aren't trying hard enough.

Unsupported! it will be no good.They are new they should atleast have the right to do any job (which are available without Applying) so that they learn more about those jobs , as JDC said we all were new at a time , we didnt know about anything we were able to learn the Laws and Rules through jobs i also learnt everything from the Cop duty.So, no i dont support this we should let them do any job

We should teach them how the things work around here and make them a worthy player of Argonath Community....

I've never seen that admin ignores new player who is asking for help. Never. I (and maybe someone else too) on other hand ignore regular players that are whining and asking for all kind of stupid things only cause they are "regular"... Tp me, tp my car, tell me this, tell me that, do this, do that... pffff...

on topic - Idea was mentioned so many times and the answer was the same every time. No.
