Pink screen when exiting SAMP

I never had this problem before. I basically wanted to try out MTA:SA today (I had it installed but never played it) and I upgraded MTA to 1.4 or something like that. After a while of testing out MTA I decided to head back to SAMP. Everything worked fine until I decided to alt + tab out of SAMP. That is when this comes in:



That is basically my screen every time I get out of the SAMP window. This NEVER happened before. They way I fix this each time is to CTRL + ALT + DEL. That is the only way to normalize the colors.

What is this? How to prevent this?

Are you playing on a laptop? If so, close the screen/lid then open it again and it should come right as my laptop does the same thing. Never thought much of it.

Yes it is a laptop. And yeah this is a temporary fix. However I am getting tired of doing it every time :/

Oh cool I did it a few more times and it works now.

Devin just change your resolution to a smaller one, apply changes. Then change it back.

Your resolution might not save if the game doesn't have permissions to create a save file.
