Okay, so, everybody's celebrating that Argonath's back up and so on, but this brings up another issue - the forums and SAMP has been down for one day - everybody has lost their mind, while we, the VCMP players, have been without our server for a good month and three weeks now (yes, it was back up for one day and then went back down). Perhaps now that SAMP is not restored yet, people will notice us and stop treating us like less than SAMP, IVMP, or any other gaming community. Remember that according to the Argonath vision - we're all equal, yet everytime our server goes down we have to wait for months for our server to get back up. This is nonsense. However, when this happens to SAMP, it gets back up in an instant..
We waited patiently for a month without having the ability to play, and we probably would have waited another month if Klaus wouldn't have stepped in and started demanding justice. Yes, then our server was moved back to Argonath host (before it was hosted by one of our players because while it was on Argonath host we couldn't play for god knows how long and nobody cared) and we were told that all attacks will now be dealt with more efficiently and when the server goes down it will be brought back in no time. Yet here we are again, after ONE FREAKING DAY of the server working properly, waiting three weeks for the server to get back up.. Seriously? Can you start treating us like part of Argonath community, not like trash and actually let us play at once?

All the servers are down right now because of a breach of security. The sad thing, however, is that VC:MP went back down on the 13th, before any of these concerns, after two days of uptime.

This is pathetic. Are we really part of Argonath or not?

1 month and 3 weeks? Man if we replace VC:MP with SA:MP, there would have been tones of topics complaining that SA:MP is down. I'm with you on this and I hope you get your server back up very soon.

One could make the argument that there have been some other topics complaining here. Though this has also been a recurring issue since 2013.

The server is down. It would be online once the development team gets the access to control panel or they arrange a temporary host.

The developer team of Argonath's VC:MP server has decided to open a temporary server (with stable scripts) so we can all play again.

This host will be offline for as long as I can't be home and possibly even after it. Sorry guys, but this is due to happenings in real life

It'd be a quick fix if the panel wasn't still being set up and we had a sufficient level of access to upload new scripts.

The fact of the matter is that the server has been mostly reliant on temporary hosts for over a year now. Evidently it was more stable when Marcel was hosting it, but he's been community banned (the circumstances of which are unclear to me), so that's no longer an option.

2009-2010 were quite well, but 2011 the downtimes started to extend ending up in the outrageous 8+ months of downtime last year.
