Apologies, but when did Kaltsu, Luca, Petey, etc. have to do the test again? They are automatically ARPD, somehow, just because they are chiefs. I'm by no means saying that they should do any training, but I would feel relatively insulted if I am forced to conduct training again, given that I already did it 8 months ago. I don't know why Luca has chosen to empty Los Santos of Police, but thats his choice.

By the way, DPD was always the best department (though to some, after SFPD) , and is now lacking a Chief. I was wondering who was going to be the Chief, and when?

7. Criminals...

From what I saw - mostly hit and run... To get wanted level and lets go changing cars... Surrender mostly only admins... Others - nah, better jump from car to car... Well, server is not stable, as longer chase - more chances the criminal will be crashed... You want chases and fun in fighting? Then for god sake - fight or surrender... Probably this situation with criminals mostly killed the interest in players to play a police force...

Well, not many surrenders because if the officer kills him he get -250 and jail -500. Thats probably why.

Someone tried to kidnap me yesterday, i just walked off and got a PM saying " great RP skill" which i replied witha  thanks, but before this happened, i was shot at and nearly killed. Kidnapping is getting terribly old now, and if anyone kidnaps or tries to kidnap me, i'll tell them to get to ****

I support Hanks opinion about the whole ARPD story. I don't know why a good RPer cannot play as member of a mafia/gang/group and as officer.
Lets take Hank as example if i am allowed to do so:
If he plays with his name Hank_Rafferty, he is rping a perfect officer. He explains other people how to improve their experience as cop, he is just doing a great hob.
If he isn't in the mood to play as officer, he is using his name Vice911, a dangerous criminal.
Well i don't know, i think everybody shall have the same right to chose the RP skin he wants to use.

Yeah, that way I don't see any problems at it since the officer and criminal are "different person."
This would make another problem though - too many /changename users.

I just meant that it would be kind of weird to see officer walking to you and when you talk with him he tells that his name is for example Something_Solonik and most of us know that Solonik is name of a mafia family.

 Yeah thats what I was doing as well.. I used /changename to be Officer_Bryant, I don't see any problems with that.. anyone can do it. Wait intill something happens for you to say /changename can be abused and if it is and if they impose someone then ban.. so dont say it will be abused just yet. So what I can't be cop because server fucked up and made me ARPD? I say its bullshit, just because I am not RSTAR or something I have to reapply and yet no one answers anyway so ffs.


Yeah kidnaps do get boring now, I rember when we first figured out abut kidnaping and it was fun... now people Metagame to use the radar and /area to find the kidnapers and kill them, I say its bullshit.

Only problem with /changename is that it will be a bit hard to know who is who if ~150 guys use /changename.

I used the ad to ask how to open the police gate because I asked police, no answer and I asked publicly no answer, I Just got annoyed. Sorry. But if anyone does know how the gate opens I'd appriciate them Just saying it for me

If I deal Drugs, Kidnap, or do pretty much anything I will wear my Solonik tag. To be honest, I wouldn't /changename to Officer_Panda either. When I see a cop - I think "Ok, regular or not? If not, does he know commands?", not "Ok, is this guy a Mafia member and therefore likely to.. etc."

There is nothing wrong with Gangmembers being in the ARPD.
Anyone who cannot Roleplay seperately as a Cop should not be in ARPD.

I, for one, can. I have been in ARPD for 8 months. I still am in ARPD, by my books.
 They just forgot my rights.

The thing is that if police force makes (plans) an operation against Solonik - who will trust the officer Solonik, and give guarantees he will not go to his clan/gang and will not tell the object of operation? Just by changename (excuse)...
The same goes to all others "criminals/officers"...

You'd have to trust the officer, no? Anyone in ARPD should be trusted. There was an operation awhile back in VCPD, and the members of the Gang involved didn't say a word.
