I actually am. If this server wants to be successful to its "RP Self," this drug system is going to have to work like this, else the server will get abused more and more despite how everyone wants to fight it saying we're not.

The ONLY people that can grow weed or order heroin are OFFICIAL Criminal Groups

No way in hell will we limit the growing of drugs to a specific status groups members only.
However the drug market is limited to Official and Recognized groups members.

I think the real issue on why Argonath is having its scripters fall apart is because it can't decide who it is. We MUST (Yes. WE. The community and its members must choose, what kind of community is this supposed to be) address the question. Are we a Light RP Community or are we a Freeroam Community? We can't have our cake and eat it.

Scripters fall apart? More like the disrespect from ungrateful members of the community that drive the developers away. The relentless disrespect and beating on their work, the lack of empathy or care given when talking about another persons work.
The developers and all of the staff are here giving up their time to help develop the server, to get things working for the players to make use of.

When people come out of their caves and start disrespecting the work of the developers and staff whilst blaming the developers for the player count when they (those shit-talking the current scripts and development) are not even active within the community for whatever reason they may have.
That's when it starts to get ridiculous, if one is not even active within the community to then come and voice your opinion and disrespect the work done, that's when things get personal and unacceptable.

Either start having scripts that involve force rp and having Closed groups or just stop the RP and allow everyone access to everything the server has to offer by letting players "do as they want," since "Anyone can be anything." (I personally vote for the Light RP.)

Scripts do not create roleplay nor should they be required for a player to roleplay. They are merely additions to roleplay, for example animations.
No script will be made that forces someone to roleplay.

I think what I'm trying to say is that there is an issue with the community that is pushing the Scripters into a corner which they can't understand how to get out of. While I'm not one to talk since I don't exactly focus on the issue with drug scripts yet there is a pressing matter on hand where we got some members talking trash while other members support (Should they support). I'm not against the developers or what they design but perhaps it's a good idea to know just what kind of project you are going to construct here. You can't just make changes without knowing what you want your outcome to be. Are you making these changes to start a more Roleplay type of server or are you make changes to start a more Freeroam type of server.

Scripts are a basis for roleplay, they are there to guide people into roleplaying and prevent abuse (at least in some cases). While you may think otherwise and laugh at that, I have seen how a server without much roleplay scripts function. It does seem like a nice idea but it's quite liberal.  It's like having a pure democracy. It doesn't work. It won't work. It never will work. You can't trust the entire community to act right and roleplay properly. There has to be some way to control the roleplay. Saying that "It's merely additions to roleplay," is quite funny considering you can't use imagination to build roleplay. Can you use imagination to build up your house? No. You have to have something concrete to BUT you can use imagination to design what kind of house you want.

Point is. Scripts to build up Roleplay Access -> Community to use the Scripts and build Roleplay off of it -> Success

Although if you disagree with this, you may do so. I'm not trying to offend you, nor am I against you.

I must agree, wether people like the scripts or not they should appreciate and live with them as the scripters have spent alot of their own private time writing them up for players to use.

Original drug system suggestion idea.

We will use the term 'export' for the sell that will remove the drugs from server.

1. Only players with the position of clan leader can 'export' the drugs.
2. To export they need to go to secret, and randomly changing positions as otherwise the cops would just camp outside the export place.
3. If arrested while on their way gang leaders are forced to give up their drugs if any are found. They can avoid losing all by dividing the drugs to 'drugs runners' who they will tel the location to go to. This can be a RP job not exclusive to gang members, to confuse the cops.
4. Export opportunities will appear randomly, and be available for limited time.

Add those, and a higher price and no developer will have to give up on this community.
