 Here are some cool ideas for the server... I think we need a way to get some money from the server itself and players too, because I have gone 3 days without making any profit from my DWU ideas.. I was thinking of a fishing script where you could buy a fishing pool from a 24/7 and then fish at the peer to get your lvl up and then sell at 24/7.. since this is at RPG server why is there no possibly to get money from the server itself?

All the drugs you get come from the server itself, they just aren't in the money form yet.
Every suspect that you kill gives some extra money from server itself + some money from the suspect.

And a lot more.


But I understand what you mean and I agree, there could be some more ways to get money, but they can't be too easy ones.

Once players start to have more money and property, I am sure that money will move a lot more from player to player than it does right now.

 Thanks Jnn for the reply yeah.. most of the money made from the old scripts was from killing suspects and I think a lot of other players will agree, the peak of money was at the end of the last scripts.. but now it seems even more hard  to make moneys.. lets see.

1. All the players who were at the first day of new scripts received, 10k plus another 40k for being there.

2. So about 70 players had 50k to start.

3. But some players came late and only got 10k.

4. Some players didn't even get 10k yet and didn't you were supposed to.

5. Take into account, that some people won prizes at Argonath Nobel Awards.

6. Some people used /loan and bought a 275k business and recived a extra 25k from that.

7. It is past due for most of the player bought business of the 300k loan period am I right? Or can you decide to pay it any time or not at all?

8. So thats some money floating around, most spent on guns at ammunations and bugs such as following through floors of buildings and having to re-enter.

9. Some people make cash as cop, but on these scripts more hard as you only get 250 for a killed suspect? I have no clue about jail, as I am not ARPD anymore and don't care for cops.

10. So thats all the money on the server, not sure how anymore will be made if people must pay the 300k loan...

 well that is just a guide at where all the money is at, it would be nice if the server could generate money for people. You know fishing, and other things so you don't have to interact with other players as much to make a living.

 Drugs work? Not sure haven't tested it out at all, I am too busy trying to promote my idea of a Workers Union but no one seems to take notice unless its gang related or something.

 Seems like all RP is on some main admin doing /ad Come to RSTARS hotel or disney land.. I wish to see more RL RP like people driving better or cops not stopping every damn person they see and asking for a fucking fine.

If you don't pay the loan when you are supposed to, you lose your bussiness and your money. That's how I have understood it. I am not sure though, I don't even own a bussiness myself.

About drugs, I think they were fixed yesterday.. Atleast something was done about drugs. :trust:

And, in case you haven't noticed, there often are events held by admins - for example races, small destruction derbys, stunting contests etc. - that's a good way to win some money.

Also I thought about the loan. Lets see: mostly in game I am a cop. Everyone knows how much money a cop gets for killing a suspected. The worst problem is if a suspected surrenders and while escorting him to any PD the game crashes :/ in that case you don't get anything. If I would take a loan, and the loan should be returned in one month, I doubt that being a cop in game is possible to get the that sum back. Ppl don't go to other business's coz they are saving the money to get the loan back. Even RP become somehow more inactive only because the players thinking about how to return the money back.. If you noticed the atmosphere because of MONEY got worse :/ ppl are angry in game, flaming insulting much more than it was in 2.1 script. I don't think that the money should be the problem for anyone, coz that brakes the RP spirit of everyones. Well yes, ppl that were on Opening party got money, admins got money because they are admins, and what to do to ppl that couldn't take part in that party and are not admins? :S Well, I think you know mostly thoughts of other ordinary players about this script. As I see mostly of them are just waitting and thinking what will it be, when the month will pass..? what will happen when a good players will loose their business or houses (if they own any) only because that they couldn't get that sum of money..? I was being a taxi driver, drug seller, mostly cop in game and could get only 20k from the beginning. So what was the date of Opening and how much time passed since than?
I really think that's gonna take us into confusion, and I wouldn't want that coz this is a game where ppl should have a really good relax, participate in evenings and RP situations, and not only to think how to get money to get back the loan in 1 month period..

Definately need to sort something out on the finance front.

As most know I spend a fair bit of my time in a helicopter bsed fo SFPD, I get nothing for assisting in chse work or moving displaced cops around the map.

The little cash I have is from mostly donations (although I did get 1k from a v v v nice person I gave a lift to while as a civvy helo pilot) or the really odd occasion when a heli cop actaully makes an arrest (2 or 3 so far!).

As many realise I enjoy doing the heli work, and with Teamspeak the comms is rather active getting ground units to do the final work.

A 'minimal' pay level such as say $50 for every hour or two online might help, its not much but should be enough to offset the numourous car fillups (where my 99% of my money is spent, no weapons, no skins, no house, no business, just odd drinks to boost health back up).  (this btw should encourage people to stay on the server, even when they start to get a little bored!)

As for the money that many got for being at the start... not entirely my fault I wasnt there, I wasn't even near acomputer, was away.  As a result I started with $0 and have rarely seen above $3k.

Its sad but it seems the biggest way to obtain cash in this server is to 'break the law' not so good for someone who rp's within the law.

I made announcement about Courts... Jury - 3000$... And what was??? 50 players on server - no fucking applied to be a jury... Who was? again admins, yeah, cos they came and helped... Those who were security got their money, even lawyers and witnesses got money... And Jury? 12 slots to make 3000$ - none was fucking care...

Instead of suggesting stupid (sorry) fishing scripts that has nothing to our RPG vision, apply for jobs...

Newspaper - one article - 3000$... All you need - to write about some event and make a screenshot...
Lets count... 3 articles - 9000$... Besides it will be the Oscar nomination "The best reporter" which will bring more money...

I know what you mean, i take some jobs from other ppl (non-admins...), and they pay too (ok not much, but somthing is better than nothing..).

I wont apply me as Jury, because i dont know much about it... But maybe i try to write an article...

And, yea i know, the admins are very buzzy! Look what they brought: A GREAT RPG server!! (with crashes, but one they i hope they are gone...)

i have ideas, but no one will RP along with them, as you saw, i runa  mobile shop, no none is interested everyone is interested in fucking drugs, you can never find drugs  half the time...
