I believe Argonath will be back as soon as the exams are over.
SA:MP server is currently in a decent state with a stable player base of around 20-25 people on a daily basis.

If you are new to Payday 2, would highly suggest giving this game a miss, it is not worth it unless you have all the DLCs. The only reason they are doing this giveaway is to entice new players to buy the full game later on.

They sure had a boost in playerbase after giving it away for free. 192k players online right now. You don't need all the DLCs to play heists from DLC as long you join lobbies made by others though.

You know something that was already bad turns into a game for plebs when it's given away for free. Playing pub games was almost impossible before this, now I can't imagine how bad it's gonna be for the first few months.
