Just another IV Client (CitizenIV)

I remembered when a player called " Abdulrahaman ", [I dont remember exact name] . He said about this on the IV:MP In Argonath in-game and everyone started saying him dont advertise and saying dont talk about that and we wont try it and we will stick to argo and all [ Even me once ]. He was like why nobody want to try . Finally i planned to try and asked him and he was happy on me that atleast i asked for it. He gave me the site and i tried. I donno what are the command keys in that thing. It was like anyone can teleport ? It was like everyone is admins. And It was looking like a Latest version of OS. haha It was pretty cool. Now this got influence somehow. That " Abdulrahaman" Is great guy. Nobody cared when he said and now its Famous..

So what if this was told before? Do you know how much work would it take for Argo to switch client? its not a copy paste thing and its not easy, for a switch of client there must be better reason then just working shooting and explosions of vehicles. There is a client with just better shooting but totally unstable we tasted it and all agreed that just shooting is not wort going back to step one (crashy server) ask some of the veterans how crashy was the server at start, 2-3min and you crash, makes the current occasional crash a heaven. So no just finding a new client wont make it a better server as much effort must be put in scripts and things like that.

Anyone remember IV+? Great multiplayer client with potential, pretty much died off before it could even be released. Then there's MultIV, which has barely any servers and some development previews, but no polished product.

IV seems to have some issue with retaining a quality multiplayer mod and remaining under active development. Hopefully CitizenIV can live up to its potential and prosper.

Well most of the players who are an long time on IV now are "used to"  the crashes and the desync, You don't hear us blaming about the client etc , Citizen IV client looks good but if the desync would be better there ???.

Until we find a client/build that is a vast improvement over what we currently have, we will not be transitioning.

Replacing one set of bugs with another set of bugs from a different client is not a step in the right direction.

I too hope for the day where we have a perfect IV client, I will continue waiting for that day, in the meantime I hope our loyal players remain active and understand the situation that we all share together.
