As some of you may have noticed the IRC was up for a while then went down without much reason. We have since spent a considerable amount of time rebuilding the IRC. At this current time only one node is functional while a Canadian node and Netherlands node are planned but awaiting configuration in the domain settings.
You can connect to the node that is up with the following details:
irc.argonathrpg.com:6698NOTE: This IRC is still in it's early infancy stages and may be prone to errors. The full network is still not entirely functional and may have short periodical outages as a result.
All services are functional and available:- NickServ (user registration and account management)
- ChanServ (channel registration and management)
- BotServ (assigning services bots to channels)
- HostServ (virtual host requests)
- MemoServ (sending messages to offline users)
IRC Network Rules* Use of this network for distributing warez, illegal torrents or other illegal material will result in a ban.
* Excluding bots, NickServ accounts may only be owned by one person at a time. Bots must be identified using the +B mode or risk disconnection.
* Personal attacks on users and pornography are disallowed per community rules.
* Advertisements of communities not belonging to Argonath RPG will result in a ban and potential action at a higher community level per community rules.
* Flooding, unauthorized access to others' accounts or attempting to subvert network rules will result in further punishment.
* IRC staff reserve the right to act in situations that are not explicitly covered by these rules.
