ok il truly help you now here is what i would do in order form least desperate

1# press ctrol del alt find programs that ur not using and close them down

2# go to c drive or whatever u have your storage on, rightclick  click disk clean up and willo terminate any files that have never been used or have been used since the last year or so- saves atleast 1-10 gb of space

3# go to watti's documents and setting or whatever it is called, go to every folder temporay cookies webpages saved and etc - this saved me 5gp of memory once

4# uninstall all programs u never use. some things seem stupid like many mods and stuff but those 3mbs add up allot and also the games.

5# go to system restore back in time

6# buy some of those green disk with commit, kernel, physical memory 20- 80$ , saves lag and speeds up computer

7# ok i have NO clue how the do it but go to a computer store and thel somehow trnasver data onto or away from your computer or something like that  - what a waste of 80 bucks

Watti try to use a registry cleaner.
If you de-install a lot of programs they might leave some traces in the registry. This can block up memory.

Next you really need to check what processes are running. Pres CTRL-ALT-DEL and go to the tab processes.
Put the name of all in to Google and check if they are part of Windows or other programs. If not kill them.

Well you asked me what type of computers I use.
I can use computers at home or at work. Or I can use the coputers at work from home. Or I use the computers at home from work.
Or I connect to my computer with my PDA. Or to my PDA with my computer. OMG I am confused  :trust:

Usually I m on my laptop at home or on any PC at work. But these days it does not matter where you are.

Watti these are the programs. Look at the processes. I think there are a lot more than that running.

many things can be causing this could you answer these questions?

what type of connection do you use?
How much memory does your computer have?
How old is your computer?
How strong is the mother board?
How many gega hearts do you have, i have no clue if thats the meaning but as in my computer runs 3.4gh

Some thigns might be your computer itself and not programs

The amount of memory and processor your applications are taking is quite normal. You are 100% fine with all those running, there is no need to shut down any of them.
Try raising the size of your page file:
http://www.aumha.org/win5/a/xpvm.php (Scroll down for instructions)

...And you think that's a lot of applications:

...And even 76 isn't that many in all cases.
