What's the deal with such jokes?

The usage of this image itself may be seen as hypocritical but...

What is the deal with people thinking it's appropriate and even supporting jokes or mocking  on the following area?
- Race,Nationality
- Religion, Cultural beliefs
- Sexual Assault, Rape, Sexual harassment
- Disease and peoples illnesses.

I get a lot of comments saying to stop caring about it, and accusing me of hypocrisy, but it really angers me and I really do not understand why some people feel it is ok and support it outright... I of course apologize if i offended anyone with anything, but it's really not right and I do not understand why some people really support it and go beyond certain lines to defend some really disturbing 'jokes'..., like really disturbing.

Is it just me who it bothers?
21st century or not, it's not right and I feel there is no appropriate excuse for it, especially within Argonath which I feel shouldn't support this behavior or be a home for it.

Also why is it bad to discuss such a subject and why do people not like speaking up about such subjects, clearly it's an issue which concerns at-least one member of the community, me, and I'm sure others agree... It's just not right.

IN the other hand, those things happen, that's a fact. Joke can not make it happen or prevent it.
Joke can only make people percieve it:
Neutral
Funny
Provoking

It's strange, but I know all of us can laugh at a joke in certain mood, in some other, we might fight it disgusting..
