In my opinion normal patrolling officers with MP5 is damn stupid idea.
If we're going to get a SWAT unit, maybe they should have MP5, M4 and other weapons like that, but a patrol police with MP5?

Then the normal police would be overpowered towards the gangs in SA.
Then they have to spend alot of cash for weapon to compete with cops.

It's true, as has been described very well by one person, if the ARPD have too much power (as now) then they are not the Police Force. They are just a Police Gang  .

It is my opinion that Deagles can beat any other Argonath Weapon, so maybe thats where it should be left? Maybe more Deagle ammo could be provided for ARPD, and also around 50 Shotgun Bullets (like with the 0.2.1 DPD Skins). That way, ARPD are better equipped than the Free Cops, but also are not overpowered.

A Skilled Cop should kill 2 or less Tec9-Armed Gangmembers with a Deagle if he has full health. If they have M4s or AKs, then 3-4 Criminals should be possible. With Tec9s / Uzis, then Cops just go around shooting everything due to the inaccuracy (civilians, cars, windows, etc.). The chance of a (running away) bystander being hit by a Deagle is exceptionally remote, and only if the Criminal uses them as cover.

Normal Patrol Free Cops should have a Deagle. ARPD should have a Deagle and Shotgun (Not a Combat one). SWAT should have SMG.

Ok. all people not in ARPD that wanna be a cop for a bit, have to use a Deagle, but all in ARPD ( cadet or not )

What the fuck? thats like the a Minigunner vs. Pistols...

And again, i think ARPD has lost its touch as they are taking 'new clan' tactics as taking as many members as they can.
i saw some people apply, and in 20 mins they get accepted and get full ARPD immediatly.

Do any of you see one problem with that?

I wasn't saying that should happen. ARPD should have Deagles and Shotguns, not automatic weapons (unless you are SWAT).
Shotguns are pretty bad, anyway. But some prefer them.

No i think automatic weapons are handy, shooting tires down etc. Also remember that only ARPD officers or above had Micro smg's

Yea, if they must have an Auto it should be an MP5. Otherwise, stick with the good old Deagle/Shotgun Combo. As I have said before.. I always use a Deagle, it just owns everything else.

It looks unrealistic. Patrol cops aren't supposed to carry weapons around like that around.

It's too much advantage agaisnt criminals. Criminals won't stand a chance against cops with shotgun, deagle and SMG.

I bet there are more if you start to think about it.

True.. but how dumb is this situation:

You're wanted, almost in SF ready to confess.. Then... an ARPD car pulls up behind you, pulls out a fucking tec9 machine pistol that they stole from

some gang member in Ganton, unloads into your car without asking surrender or giving you any chance to run, and blows it up.. You get out just

before, and get hit in the back immediately by a flurry of bullets, killing you almost instantly, then you turn around and get blasted again by the cops..

Result :

Problem : Nobody has even a CHANCE of escaping, making this ( by definition ) Powergaming, or DMing

Answer : Give them a deagle and a shotgun, if they deem necessary, they'll buy themselves their own auto guns. In Real life only SWAT uses           

automatics. Make a swat unit, and give them the automatics, ( If necessary ). Cops don't need free automatic weapons that can kill everyone, it only promotes

more abuse and violence.. Especially if you were sused incorrectly, or abused. Since nobody can unsu you, the result is complete annihilation.
