This has been happening for quite a while now.

Every suspect tends to be chased by an annihilator (sometimes even two!). Helis make your /rhl take longer because they can easily keep up with you - that I am fine with, no problems, it's a good thing.

However, I believe Annihilators should only be used in robberies (where there is money involved), RP events and maybe chasing suspects who killed someone, were part of gang fights or anything like that.
Taking down a suspect who evaded a traffic stop with an Annihilator is quite overkill and it just screams "LAME!".

Let the driving cops do their work!

Because of this i've been going on the underground railroads more often. This is something cops do not like either. I've had PMs from cops to ask me to go back up to the surface. With Annihilators, you can bet on it that I won't do that so often. So maybe it's time to limit the Annihilator? Not saying to completely remove it.

Annihilator does not require any special skill to be able to kill a suspect. It's just shoot and keep shooting. I've even witnessed one case where an Annihilator pilot killed a fellow cop. I admit that having some skill in it turns the odds even more in the law's favor (getting a bit ahead of the suspect and then turn to shoot on the sides, for example).

Also, a minimum height rule could be added. I've seen some dangerously low Annihilators plowing through the roads just trying to get that kill. Something like a 5 meters above rule?

LCPD Regulations:

Quote
14. LCPD operative is allowed to call NOOSE backup ONLY:

A. When LCPD and/or FBI cannot handle the situation.
B. When there is threat of terrorist attack.
C. When there is a hostage situation.
D. When suspects are barricaded in a building.
E. For transporting of highly dangerous fugitive(s).

The only rule that would apply for most of my cases when I've had Annihilators after me would be:

A. When LCPD and/or FBI cannot handle the situation.

So you're saying LCPD / FBI are getting more and more incapable? Getting an Annihilator relatively soon in a chase feels a bit ridiculous.

Keep in mind they can engage suspects in supercars while no HSP Units are free or if you are a high ranked suspect (Dark orange)

Most of these times I was not in a supercar (if not all). I was generally in heavy vehicles (Patriot, rarely Phantom).
NOOSE has police Patriots.

I'm not gonna register in yet another website just for that.
And no one would give a damn if I reported some fellow high ranked players.

My suggestion still stands.

You don't like the Annihilator coming after you? Don't be a suspect when a potential pilot is around.

You don't like the Annihilator coming after you? Don't be a suspect then.

As already mentioned above, there are strict procedures for the usage of the Annihlator. It's the suspects behavior what makes the Annhilator chase you.

Sorry, then it just means they're breaking the rules.
A. When LCPD and/or FBI cannot handle the situation.

Let them try first then. Just today I got chased by a couple officers in their police cars. No FBI, no Noose. Few mins later (probably not even 5) I get an Annihilator after me.

Is this good? Certainly not.

Better rp with cops theb just evading blah...
More annhilitors - no copbaiting and criminals will more rp....
Its not all about evading..
Its enough cops have slow cruisers and criminals comet.inernus..etc
And + client is bad we can't blow your tires or so.
If you want to evade so good study the map like dell...

Dell generally uses fast cars (Sultan RS, for example).

Almost all the times I was running away from an Annihilator was with a slow vehicle, typically slower than cop cruisers.

Yes you can't pop our tires. Deal with it. Cars don't have damage either, that would really help criminals in chases (a lot of cops hit eachother, all the time), so for you guys it's actually good that there is no damage.

I kindly advise you to read the topic and understand what it is about before replying.

Currently HSRD is not operational ( Still recruiting ) but I think once they become active these regulations may change, for now if you think someone is abusing it, I would suggest you to report it.

i dont wana say this anymore but cops tend to overpower suspects. think im gonna start using the underground railtrack from now on, fair enough on the criminal side. i suggest all the criminals out there do the same as well. if the cops can have extraordinary privileges, im gonna have my own privileges too like having to carkill a cop and speed off just because im surrounded by a few of them, RP included ofcourse. dont block the way or get killed sorry
